Love these mugs, not gonna comment on the shape since you can look at the pics. Handle seems to be pretty solidly attached to the cup. There are some small grind marks at various areas and joints but I like that look, makes it look "working class." The cup does sweat with cold beverages so use a coaster if that bothers you. Had these for a few months and haven't had to polish them or anything yet and they still look new, I did buy copper polish but turns out I haven't had to use it on these cups yet. I wash them by hand and quickly wipe them with a dish cloth to dry. Also, they hold a wide variety of liquids other than Moscow Mules as well, I've used them to hold water, soda, ice tea and Kool-Aid. Have not had a cold drink yet that this cup would not hold but will report back when I do.

These are exactly as pictured and advertised...it's a basic copper mug, exactly what I wanted. The mug is just the right size (the recommended size for a Moscow Mule is 16 ounces), the right weight, and is well constructed. As with any type of true metal [silver, copper, etc..] it will need to be polished occassionally most likely, so for anyone who purchases this and then complains about it tarnishing, then they should purchase a mug that is specifically lacquered and made of imitation material, as they won't be happy with the real deal. And as for the purchaser who was wondering about "having to scrape off the lacquer," this mug does not have laquer on it, or at least the ones I received did not, otherwise if there is lacquer, it's unnoticable, and I wouldnt see why anyone would even want or bother to scrape it off.

I love making my own Moscow Mules and was looking for a few copper mugs to help in making my concoctions and stumbled across these. They are a great quality mug and 16oz is perfect for blending a good mule. I generally freeze mine but even without they retain their cold for a long time which is important for a good mule. My only complaint about these is there is a slight indention in the base that will collect water if you leave them in the dishwasher that will allow the copper to tarnish. Other than that a great mug for making your drinks!

I didn't get this mug for drinking, but mostly for decoration and holding small things in my copper-accented kitchen. I chose it for the straight-sided style, which I like way better than the usual barrel shape, and for the simple lines of the handle. It is an expensive little thing, but about in line with the other copper mugs I was finding on the market. It appears to be solid copper and very nicely finished inside and out. The only "flaw" is the soldering holding the handle on. It is, of course, a silver color which contrasts to the copper and makes it look a bit cheap. I still like it, but because of the expense and the solder, I am downgrading it a star.

We got these because we wanted 100% copper mugs to give as gifts. Tall order, it seems. Even at our nicest local kitchen supply store the copper mugs were nickel plated. Well, these really fit the bill and they were a HUGE hit as gifts! THey have a nice feel. They seem very old-fashioned to me (something I like) and they work great and cleanup great.One caution, while these are dishwasher safe, if you have hardwater it can dry on to these and make them spotty. The spots come off, of course, but it takes some elbow grease. So we just handwash ours. It's easy, they clean up so well

Nice looking mug. Although it is solid copper it is not nearly as heavy a gauge of copper as I was expecting. the description doesn't specify but I was expecting something heavier like the mugs I typically get to use at a bar for my Moscow mule. This one is much lighter.

I happen to work for a company that produces the best vodka, so I have plenty of experience with copper cups. These cups are great quality and they feel wonderful in your hand. They are nice and heavy. I was buying these to be part of a gift basket for a charity fundraiser, so I was looking for something that really drew they eye and these are perfect. Now I want to buy another set for myself!

I returned these. The weight of the copper was okay, but the food/drink safety coating was poorly applied and there were black streaks inside the mugs. Gross. Not worth poisoning myself for a good deal. I returned these and bought a better set at Bed, Bath & Beyond for a bit less money - cheaper & much higher quality!These could be used for decoration, potting plants, etc - anything that does not involve actually eating or drinking from these mugs.

We got these because we wanted 100% copper mugs. Once you start looking around you find that's hard to find - most copper mugs are nickel plated. These are 100% copper mugs with an invisible food safe seal on the inside. They look great and feel great and are easy to cleanup.While these are dishwasher safe, if you have hardwater it can dry on to these and make them spotty. Then you'll have to manually rewash them to get the spots off. I recommend you just handwash, they are very easy to clean and don't need to go through the dishwasher.

Received my cups super fast. Poored a bottle of beer in my cup and it stayed colder then just drinking it from the bottle.Just be careful when drinking hot liquid. The handle gets hot as well.I will definitely order more 😀Thank you

Exactly what I thought they should be! These copper mugs are just the best, everyone loves them and they keep your drinks soon cold.

Very nice - exactly as the photo represented and seems well made. I bought another one that I like the shape of better. This one is a big chunky mug
