I really wanted to love these shorts. As a cyclist, I thought that they were a super cute way to solve the thigh chaffing issue. However, they didn't quite cut it.I ordered these in medium and large because some of the reviews suggested that they ran a little large.I found that they run true to the measurements listed for each size. I didn't have any issues with ride up of the legs or falling down at the waist with the proper size (L). Slippage and rolling occurred when I wore the smaller sized garment.These lace bike shorts are extremely soft and comfortable, however they do not work under any kind of material that isn't already super slick (think satin, poly or other synthetic). These shorts grabbed onto the material of nearly every skirt and dress that I tried them with which caused the skirts to ride up my legs. If that's a look you like, then I say go ahead and go for these shorts. But for me, the price is too high to have these available for just the one skirt/dress in my closet that doesn't get stuck to the shorts.

I am surprised that these work so well to protect from the dreaded thigh rub! I initially ordered a large (I am a 10/12) but found these stretched out a little after the initial wear and felt a bit loose. They also shifted around on my thigh and made me paranoid that I would not get the protection I was looking for. I decided to order a medium. That fit much better and they don't shift around at all. The lace is stretchy and comfortable and breathable. I'll continue to purchase these in the future as I am very pleased with them.

I loved the fit of these shorts as soon as I put them on. They have the signature no bind waist band used for other hanky panky products. However, after just one day of light use, the lace has started to pull on the inner thighs. That is not acceptable for $40 underwear. I don’t think these will last long unfortunately

This is exactly what I’ve needed. The lace is cute and ensures a soft, flat wear - IE: no muffin tops or bulging thighs. Hanky Panky is a great company. I own a few of their panties. I am 5’4, 148lbs w/ a large rear end and thighs. The medium fits perfectly, but I think a small would be best as fabric naturally loosens over time. Everything stayed in place w/ these on. My dress didn’t get caught on the lace. Just a solid product.

It is hard to find shorts to wear under skirts and dresses that don't look dumpy or squeeze and pinch. The soft lace is breathable and makes thigh protection feel sexy! As usual with Hanky Panky, I sized down and I am very pleased with the fit. The tag was itchy, but once I cut it off I almost forgot I was wearing underwear! Ordering another pair right now!I'm desperate for more, fun colors!

These are not like a Lacy spanks which I was kind of expecting. Thinking it wouldn’t have much supportI have muscular legs with a little fat. The thick band lace above the knee is not tight but appears to look too tight and creates a bit of a bulge. I even went with a large and the top is too sloppy and doesn’t fit tight . Guess they made for skinny legs. Do Not recommend if you have athletic legs.

I love these shorts. I wear them underneath that which one wonders if it's a long shirt or a dress and it works perfectly to not overexpose. They don't ride up or fall down. They are lightweight and comfy. They do stretch with wear but shrinks back a bit with washings. I loved it so much I purchased 2 of each color. No regrets. I wish they made more colors

I am a huge Hanky Panky fan but these were NOT worth the cost. They ran super big, rolled up, rolled down and did not shrink so I cannot wear them. Big disappointment for the price.

I love these but I usually would take a medium but brought a small and they are still a little big but I do love them. I wish they came in a extra small.
