Bergeon Optical Quality Eye Loup
Okay, so I'm guilty of trying the cheap route and purchasing the Chinese made eye loupe set from the internet with the plastic lenses (I think that's what they are made of). I think a lot of people do, until the progress in their hobby or passion. This Bergeon loupe is QUALITY !!! There is absolutely no comparison between the glass lens viewing clarity of the Bergeon versus the cheap China made loupe. It will blow you away! Bottom line, don't waste your time or money on junk. I realize it is a lot more money, but you'll be very glad you did.

I love using this thing for its intended purpose
After I bought my first watch repair kit I quickly saw the need for a jewelers loupe to wear on my head. I’m glad I did my research. I was guessing precious sapphire glass and higher magnification would be helpful, wrong. I looked up on various Internet forums what actual jewelers use most of the time, and this is it. Let me tell you why. 5x is a convenient magnification for the first common tasks you will do. More will make your work harder. The ventilation hole on the side of the loupe and non glass material means it does not fog up and it does not weigh enough to distract you with managing it. A simple coil of wire holds it just fine.

La lente è leggera e comoda da utilizzare, ingrandisce bene, senza distorcere. Ottima per osservare i particolari degli orologi. Non costa poco, ma dubito che le altre in vendita a molto meno garantiscano le stesse prestazioni.

Ich verwende die Uhrmacherlupe mittlerweile sogar schon, um winzige Splitter aus den Fingern zu entfernen. Sollte in keinem Haushalt fehlen. Die optische Qualität ist ausgezeichnet, ist eben auch ein Markenprodukt.
