GenTent XL Generator Running Cover - Universal Kit - for Larger Open Frame Generators (Extreme, Tan)

This is second canopy I've purchased. The first was for a smaller generator and it lasted for years. No tears, seam splits, dry rot, discoloration or sun damage. Purchased a much larger generator and now needed the XL size and expect the same life span. Installation was a breeze even with having to install one frame adaptor to clear the exhaust panel. The instructions are clear and the videos are very helpful if this is your first cover. Really a simple process. Customer service is exceptional both pre and post sale. This is a must if you are going run your generation in wet weather. I leave my canopy installed to avoid having to do a quick setup if weather changes. NOTE: if you getting a delivery in cold temperatures, bring the clear panels inside so they heat up and regain there flexibility. They become stiff when shipped in cold weather.

Haven’t tested it out yet but certainly seems like it will hold up in the elements.

Recently we had a power outage and it was raining, we assembled it and it was so easy! It kept our 1500 generator dry and we left it on and put it back into our shed!

Bought the XL for our Honda GX630 13,500 watts. Good heavy material for a canopy and basic fiberglass rods like used on electric fences. Only negative is the Cheap plastic corner pieces. For the price that they charge these should be made from aluminum. I'll fabricate my own out of aluminum and put the plastic ones in the trash. Hopefully it keeps the rain out because my generator isn't cheap. Florida rain goes sideways. Time will tell. 5 Star if they used aluminum or galvanized steel. Not plastic. Also the elastic corner tie downs are not the best quality. They will deteriorate quickly once they get wet. There's room for improvement on this good idea.

Haven't used it in a storm yet but the product is very well made.

Fits my Generac 15000 perfectly. Now can run the generator in rain or snow without any issues.

Little pricey but get what you pay for, only complaint I wish I would have thought of itLol

Easy to install. Covers all of the essential components on the generater.

This over fit my Generac 8000. I haven't had to use it with the unit running yet, but I believe it will work nicely, just from the way it fits.
