Can I install and register this phone with my landline number while also keeping my old phone at home?

Hi, our current system does not support phone number porting from other source. The understanding of your demand is to enable one old phone and this Desktop IP phone ringing when previous landline number gets an incoming call. If the understanding is correct, you can check with your current landline operator if they support call forward. Normally you can setup the forward with the one by one mode. Then it is no answer after several rings, the incoming call will be forwarded to a new number which was registered with this new Desktop IP phone.

Does this phone provide for skype phone to phone incoming and outgoing calls when the user has a registered skype number and a broadband router?

This desk phone can install Skype via Play Store. There is touch lens on screen to use Skype icons, dial a call or pick up an incoming call. Once a skype call coming, it will ring and answer it via handsfree mode. Please also note that Skype and other 3-party app cannot recongnize its hard keys and handset, which are dedicated for SIM card call and build-in VOIP service.

Yes, the device has build-in Google Play Services for user to install applications like Microsoft Teams.
Please be reminded that the 3rd party applications may not recognize the handset and hard keys, which are customized for SIM call or build-in Broadsis IP call application. Users can use touch screen to operate such new app just like a mobile phone on the desktop.
