Looks good and great quality. Bought as a gift.

Very nice fir the price I paid, but had to give it a coat of preserver before putting it out as the wood was very dry. Also the screw lid was a little wonky. I did look to buy another one, but unfortunately this product has doubled in price since I purchased.

The bird house is well made and looks like a big acorn, so looks as the pictures! The top comes off via an Allen bolt, but due to the top section being amoulded plastic, it was not perfectly rough (like the wooden base) so was unbelievably difficult to get back on! The other thing I found an issue with (as others have) was the fixing bracket, which was pretty much useless, but easy to replace. Other then that, the acorn bird house is great. It looks good and is a sturdy well made product.

With spring just around the corner, I've decided to put up some nesting boxes for the smaller species of birds that visit our garden.We have quite a variety from goldfinches, greenfinches, blue tits, great tits and chaffinches.With these in mind I have decided to offer them some protection against the elements and bigger birds during the breeding season.I bought the acorn shaped nest box as it was aesthetically pleasing and appealed to me, and it has not disappointed.Well made and sturdy enough to stand up to most weather conditions, I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to seeing our feathered friends making use of it in spring.

So delighted with this I bought a further 2 as gifts for friends. Beautifully made and so unusual. Looking forward to it being occupied in the spring.

Stylish design, once had a bird box which was simply made from a section of bamboo pole, it was the best bird house in the whole of the garden, was occupied every year by nesting blue tits, the only bird house in the garden which was never compromised by predators/ squirrels, other birds or rats, this bird box is the closest in design to that one and I hope is as desirable/successful to the birds as the bamboo one

I bought this as a present and it looks very strong and well made. It's nice to look at and I hope the person find it easy to install. It has a fixing in the back that looks like it just needs a nail, hook or screw to slot on to.
