Very beautiful statue of Shamshan Kali in one of her darker phases.

I always carried a picture of Kali since I was a teenager. A few years ago, I wanted to replace it with a statue and couldn't find one so I just forgot about it....until now when I came across this beautiful statue. We have other Hindu gods in the Veronese design so I was confident this one would be great. Just to be sure...I wrote to the seller who was brilliant and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. They also went above and beyond by checking the statue before sending it to me as it was coming from the states and sending me a photo and adding extra bubble wrap/padding for transit. It also arrived much earlier than expected. Excellent customer service and beautiful Kali is back with us now. Thank you!

This is a wonderful statue with amazing detail and beautifully painted. Not overly large - it's the exact same height as any regular paperback novel if you need a comparison. I can't fault it.

This is Shamshan Kali maa. A very volatile form of the Goddess who resides in the cremation ground.PLEASE take care when bringing this form of the Goddess into your home. Here the Goddess has her left leg on Mahadeva. Dakshina Kali is the kinder form of the goddess. more appropriate to keep at home. you can tell the difference because Dakshina Kali Maa has her right foot on Mahadeva. Jai Kali Maa

Product is much smaller than specified. Not worth £59 maybe £20 if your lucky! Could buy on a local market for £15? Not worth the money. AVOID AVIOD AVIOD

I bought this statue twice. The first time it arrived broken, and I decided to give it away to someone who still wanted it and bought a second one for myself. I still have the broken arm piece from the first. The first statue was of a completely different quality, lacking the details and didn't even arrive in the proper box I got the second time. The first one seemed like a cheap Chinese version of the second proper one I got. So be warned, you can get the beautiful detailed one or a knock off... For the same price.
