Bought this a while ago and sat in the cupboard for a while, not managing to get the chance to play it. Eventually, the family were at a christmas party and decided to bring it along. It was a breakout hit, everyone got involved, especially the younger kids. It's fun, accessible and doesn't take itself too seriously. The cards and burritos are great quality (and more importantly, durable!) and small enough to bring along to any sort of gathering or event, which is where it will be best received. A fantastic game for a wide target audience, guaranteed to bring the laughs.

This review is based on two adults and two 12 yr olds playing - we found the rules easy to pick up after a couple of read throughs of the instructions. It's a bit like a fast paced game of "go fish" with added chaos. Everyone enjoyed the game - including the adult who'd had to have their arm twisted to join in. There were soon shrieks of laughter from everyone as the shouts of "burrito war!" etc went out and we scrambled to hurl our missiles at each other (very soft, don't hurt) and dive for cover. The games don't last long so you don't have to commit to hours if you don't feel like it, but equally you can keep playing for as long as the fun lasts. If you don't want an opportunity to throw things at your family without reproach, this probably isn't for you. If you like a laugh, it probably is.

For young teens and playful adults buy this. We still bring this on holiday as we laugh so much with this game.

What a brilliant game to have some fun and release some frustration at the same time!!! You can throw these burritos hard and they don't hurt! The kids (14 and 17!) and I love this game - it's great fun - who doesn't wanna chuck stuff at their kids sometimes?! Why not a burrito!! They can get their own back in the burrito dual or the burrito war. Maybe a game for older kids who don't mind things being hurled at them full pelt - I can imagine little kids could get upset! (You could play with the full intention of not throwing them hard - this doesn't happen - you are under pressure to be quick - you don't have time to control the throw!!) HIghly recommend this game. (Especially if you have had a wine or two!)

This game is bonkers. No turn taking, just cards, burritos and cardboard bruises. We love this game that starts in the lounge and descends into chaos involving every room of our house. Easy to learn and fun for all ages.

We purchased Throw Throw Burrito for my niece's 7th birthday with the idea that it would be a shared family gift. She really loves the burritos because she thinks they are cute and keeps one on her desk as an addition to her other squishy toys. She also really loves throwing them at her older brother. However, she could not keep up with the card game. I ended up being on her "team" and did all the card work. Eventually she started to help me draw cards, but she couldn't get into the speed of the game or quickly choose which card to discard. The cards are cute, and I think that makes her decisions a little tough, but also her personality is not the type to want to rush through things. Before putting a match of War cards down, I would show her so she would be prepared, and she would get excited that there would be a war. When it was our turn to grab a burrito, I would quickly grab it and give it to her to throw. So, she did enjoy the game, but could not fully play. Overall, based on my niece, who is a very sweet girl who is very smart and artistic, it wasn't really age-appropriate for her. I think she will be able to fully play next year when she is 8. I'm sure there are some 7-year-olds who could fully play, but this game was not my niece's cup of tea with her leisurely personality. Aside from that, the rest of the family loved the game. It's fun, fast, and fairly easy to get the hang of although we did watch a YouTube video on how to play. There is some degree of strategy you can implement to increase your chances of winning, but younger kids may not pick up on it. For example, the person to your right is discarding cards to you; if you notice that they usually discard certain cards, it may be worthwhile to start collecting those instead of whichever cards you were originally trying to collect. This is a great way to learn human behavior, and noticing what someone will do can be used to your advantage. All of the Exploding Kittens games are great, and this is no exception. It's clever and interesting when so many other games are just too similar or boring.

It is a very easy game to play. My four granddaughters of 6 to 8 just loved it. Especially when they throw the burritos to their grandma. They think its hilarious. Because they don't have to wait for their turn to play they don't lose interest in the game . For the 6 years old I would recommend getting a card holder as it is hard for them to keep the 5 cards in their little hands. Strongly recommend this game

È un gioco veramente bello! Noi abbiamo cambiato un po' le regole per diverci di più! Le sfide si possono fare anche a fantasia, il primo che viene colpito prende uno stikers come penalità e si possono inventare anche dei pegni! 5 carte a testa, più un'altro mazzetto al lato, ogni giro d arti e prendi la nuova carta, lo scopo è fare più punti. un tris di carte speciali valgono 2 punti, un tris di carte normali 1 punto. Dopo il tris di carte speciali inizia la sfida con il Burrito. Chi ha buttato il tris può scegliere chi sfidarsi. Poi ognuno può creare delle regole a piacere. A noi è piaciuto moltissimo.
