Jack Dempsey: A Tale of Two Fists

I was cautiously optimistic when I stumbled upon this book having been disappointed in the past by other like kind from other editors but this one is a gem. If you are a fan of Dempsey, Runyon or boxing history , this is a can't miss. Terrific collection, well edited and well packaged. Highly recommended.

I was excited to find this work by the great Damon Runyon, especially given that the Dempsey-Willard battle just celebrated its 100 year anniversary. Though there were some typos in the kindle version I read, this book was highly informative and entertaining. Dempsey comes off as an affable and honest man. One of the greatest in the history of boxing. Cannot wait for the next installment on Dempsey!

My husband is a huge fan of boxing and reads everything he can about it. He is really a pretty terrific boxing historian. He loved this book on Dempsey. He couldn't put it down. He highly recommends it to those looking for primary source historical stories of the time about Jack Dempsey.

Great read.
