I got lucky when i went fishing and it didn't fly off my car at highway speeds (75 mph). Not so lucky on the way back home. Flew off at 50 mph along with my fishing rods and left a nice big scratch on the roof of my car. The box should have a 45mph warning on it. The box i received it in didnt come with instructions. And no where on the outside of the box did i read a 45mph limit when using the product. I called the rod mount company and thats when i found out that there was a 45mph limit on this product.
