Third (multi) set of these I have purchased. This time I purchased 16 to illuminate my backyard. I like the cooler (4000 - 6000k) lights so these were the 5000. They are all metal construction / metal spike (plastic spikes do break it is just a matter of time) and the extra long wire that comes with them. The extra wire length (~ 3 feet) provides flexibility during installation and easier to plan the overall layout. These like many of the lighting fixtures do not come with connectors from the fixture wire to the main power line. Connectors must be purchased separately. These lights have not had any failures. The current set all operate flawlessly and my first two sets have been working for over a year. They operate in rain, wind, cold or heat - no issues. Light output has been excellent. They are handsome and a nice feature to light-up and dress-up the outdoors. My driveways and paths are nicely illuminated and the difference in appearance & safety is, pardon the pun - night & day. I highly recommend and if I add additional lights will purchase again. Marc - SC

Several years ago, we purchased a bunch of these LED lights for our back yard landscaping and all of them are still looking good and working perfectly. So, we just bought a bunch more for the front yard landscaping, as well. They are all metal, including the ground stakes, which is a plus. Also, because they have a flat bottom they tend to sit up straight after installation and stay that way. NOTE: They are very bright and they are advertised to be non-dimmable. BUT... If you hook them up to a variable voltage regulated power supply such as the NICE-POWER DC Power Supply Adjustable Variable 3Digital LED Display Adjustable Regulated Switching Power Supply (available here on Amazon) you can adjust these lights all the way from full brightness down to nearly off. We've been using them this way for years with no problems at all.

Beautiful lighting

Bought these to replace the similar designed onesxI had bought from a well known retailer. Those I always had to replace. These, and it's been months nowhere been great, with the only issue... the connectionsHowever, the tops have a tendency to break off. I have had to super glue several of them back on

They're a bit brighter than I expected, but I got used to that. They look great, are a solid build, and the best part is the bulbs haven't burned out. That's what I didn't like about incandescent lighting - when one of the lamps burned out. Looked like hell. I did buy extras in case of a failure, but so far they have worked perfectly.

Item well packaged, received intact with timely delivery. The lights are very bright; received compliments from neighbors. Am pleased with purchase.

These are great landscaping lights and are reasonably priced compared to others on the market. They are durable and fairly easy to install. However, the newer ones just come with wire nuts whereas the previous ones came with connections that allowed you to more easily “tap” into a continuous running supply wire.
