but maybe they haven't yet experienced good boxer briefs - that would have absolutely blown their ...
I agree with all the other 1 star reviews for these briefs; I can't believe these have been so well reviewed. They are absolutely awful. For the generation that grew up with tighty-whities this may be a welcome change, but maybe they haven't yet experienced good boxer briefs - that would have absolutely blown their mind I guess. The material is indeed soft as some say, but it is terribly stretchy and really warm (if you live in colder climates these may be just tolerable...maybe.)I've tried to keep these because I spent the money on them, but one by one I've been throwing them into the bin only weeks after purchasing. Please pay more and get some from CK, or pay the same or less and get the three pack at H&M.

I'm just like the rest of you guys, I put my pants on one leg at-time-a time; but when I do I put my Hanes on first!
The Hanes are great, cuz they are cotton, form to your body (like jeans), the fabric is thin (not thick and heavy), the knit is looser and the inseam is long so they don't ride up. The waistband on the Hanes is stretchy but forgiving but not like a heavy elastic, like the other premium brands. The other brands have a very powerful elastic that digs into your waist and even compresses your bladder, making you go to the washroom like a every 10 mins and kills your beer drinking powers. The Hanes are great cuz they are cheap. But they are strong!I got XL cuz I have 40-42" waist when I sit lol. I'm a big dude. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs of Korean beef. I have a muscular build but I got some pounds too. I have glutes like a football player. My body shape is like...think Korean linebacker, like a fatty, less motivated Hines Ward! I have a hard time finding underwear that fits properly and is comfortable. I change shape when I sit, I gained weight when I tried to quit smoking 3 times this year (10lbs each time) so when I sit my beer belly muscles make my waist larger. I have a huge butt with high buttocks lol. And I have huge legs (38" diameter). My big ass takes up all the real estate in the back and there is no space for my junk in the front. I tried a lot of brands of underwear to be comfortable. I tried Champion, Under Armor, and Calvin Klein boxer briefs, but they were all too tight, hot and expensive. These premium brands of underwear are well-made but just don't fit me. Maybe if you like the dudes on the packages of these underwears they will fit you well, and probably cuz you have no ass. The aforementioned brands are knitted tightly, making them thick, and not very breathable, making your junk and groinal area hot, sweaty and uncomfortable. The design of the premium brands also includes a lot of overlap of fabric in the design in the fly and at the top of inseam, these makes them much warmer and less able to induce sperm saving airflow and more susceptible to skin problems like itchy b@@lls syndrome. However, this overlap is probably good for making the underwear more durable. The premium underwear compress to form to your body whereas the Hanes stretch to fit your body. And they actually support your man parts and surround them (as opposed to squish them into place like the premium brands) so your junk doesn't stick to your leg or other parts. Highly recommended. Will buy as long as they sell them.

Okay fit, but not very breathable and scratchy as all hell
For a 5 pack of boxer briefs, the fit (Medium) is alright - kind of droopy, but the "legs" of the boxer briefs fit well. I started wearing these in the summer and DAMN they are hot, and not just the black or dark gray ones. They feel much heavier and less breathable than other boxers. But this isn't the deal breaker - something about the hem is EXTREMELY irritating on your skin. It seems to catch on every single hair on your legs and makes it feel like someone is stabbing each thigh with hundreds of tiny needles. This has only gotten worse the more I've washed it. Granted, this all depends on how snugly they fit you I would imagine, but still, this shouldn't happen at all, not even with a snug fit. Now I know why this set was so cheap. Considering it's something you'll wear every day you might want to invest in less painful underwear.

Decent quality - Order one size up.
The fabric is soft enough, and there's sufficient room where it's needed...The waistband is pretty good quality and seems nice and soft, while still durable. One word of caution, order one size up (larger) than needed. For example - You look at the size chart and see your waist size fits the "large" measurements, you should then order and X-Large. Reason being is that once washed and dried (even on cold) they will shrink down one size. Not everyone knows this.

Very comfortable, proud to wear above my pants waistline.
Edit: good for about 2 wash/dry cycles. The fabric is nice, elastic band is just right for me (31inch where the band sits, I chose the large size).Somehow, it really doesn't ride up as much as some boxer briefs I have. Not sure why, but it works. The gray colors are nice, which is important considering the style these days is to show an inch or so of the boxers above the pants waistline. At least that's what kids today tell me.

Great Boxer/Briefs for women to wear also, as I love them and I'm a female.
I bought these for my husband and for myself to wear, as they fit better for me than those 'boy-shorts' they call them, for women. I love the silky feel of these, but they are cotton and tagless and not too 'bunchy' in the front for us females who chose to wear them instead of the ones that are supposedly made for women to wear. The pricing on these are also much better than women's brand names for similar type undies. Plus of course, as we all know who have a brain in our heads, that there is price gouging that happens for anything that has to do with women's fashions. These are so much more comfortable than any women's underwear that they try to simulate as 'like men's wear'. It still doesn't cut it, so just get genuine men's wear that would adapt to women's bodies. We will come back for more in the future.

Don't get these. Get the "Comfortblend" boxer briefs.
Don't get these. Get the "Comfortblend" boxer briefs. There's a difference:The legs on these have a slightly tight and scratchy ribbing instead of a normal hemmed edge for some reason. These are item #76927Q, made in Vietnam. YMMV, but on my thighs they ride up and constantly remind me that they don't quite fit. Now I have 5 new rags.
