Minn Kota MKR-US2-8 Universal Sonar 2 Adapter Cable – Humminbird 7-Pin

Fit perfectly and worked as expected.

This is the correct adaptor to connect the transducer in a Minnkota Terrova trolling motor to a Garmin Striker/Helix 4 pin fish finder. It fits snugly into the cable connector on the back of the fish finder. I tried two other Chinese knock offs sold by Amazon for ten dollars less and neither would stay connected to the fish finder. If you need this adaptor buy the Minnkota brand only and don’t waste time with the others.

I used this cable to hook up my Lowrance Hook 5 to a Minn Kota Foretrex trolling motor. The cable worked as advertised. It is nice not having a transducer strapped to the bottom of your trolling motor. I am giving it only 4 stars because of the ridiculous price of this very simple short cable. This cable should NOT cost 30+ dollars. It should not cost even half of that. But Minn Kota has us at their mercy and they can charge whatever. But it works.

it was the right cable for my fish finder and trolling motor

Got this to connect my Lowrance Hook 5 to my Minnkota Fortrex that I bought used. At first I was getting feedback where my screen quit working when I hit the power button on the motor (not that this is a problem with this adapter and more with the trolling motor) but once I separated (rerouted/moved) the transducer cable from the motor power cables that problem stopped. Another way to say the same thing is the cable for the transducer is not laying and running right beside the trolling motor power cord. I have upgraded Lowrance units and this also works with my Hook 7 as well as my Hook 9 if I want to put it at the front of the boat. If your MinnKota has the factory built in transducer and your using Lowrance electronics this adapter gets my recommendation

Excelente producto, llego en el tiempo avisado y pues es necesario para comunicar el ojo del troleador minnkota con el sonar lowrance generación 3, hay q que revisar nada mas si la entrada del sonar es de 7 o 9 pines, en este caso es de 7.

Right connection for the job.

Make sure you know that this adapter is only about 6” long. Work for my application as the front finder is next to the trolling motor.
