A Promise Never Forgotten: Book #2 (Never Forgotten Trilogy)

Another awesome suspense from KaLyn Cooper. A MUST read that continues where A Love Never Forgotten leaves off. Make sure you keep the tissue handy because you will need them several time throughout the book. Logan is given guardianship of the kids but they both are given joint custody. Teagan is executor to Marsha's will. The judge has ordered this but I was surprised by his stipulation. He agreed with the Social Worker in that the children should be in a two parent home but he couldn't order them to get married, just live closer to each other. After they get all moved, Teagan starts going through Gabe's office things and finds stuff on his computer. She makes two copies of everything and sends one to Matthew. Someone finds out that there is more information on the computer and that she made two copies and they come looking for it. Somehow Ashley is involved because she wants the kids for their money. Will Teagan and Logan be able to save the kids or will Ashley get to keep them? What will happen when Elizabeth and Matthew show up with the kids in the middle of all of this?

A Promise Never Forgotten By KaLyn Cooper This is the second book in the authors Never Forgotten series and I highly recommend reading each in order as it picks up right as the first book ends. This is Logan Jackson and Tegan Williams story with them becoming parents to their godchildren when both parents are killed. Everything ties into the Syrian Op that went sideways 10 years ago. There's one more book to find out where everything went wrong and who stole the gold in the shack. But also who betrayed who and why? Tegan Williams made a promise to her best friends Marsha when her children were born to take care of them is something happen to either of their parents. When this happens right after the funeral of their father in a home invasion. Little did she know that both Logan Jackson would be raising a 7 and 4 year old at Camp Jejune, NC and learn how to manage their huge inheritance while keeping them safe from someone who only wants the money not two kids. Marine Lieutenant Logan Jackson loves his godchildren very much and would do anything to keep them safe but he didn't expect that he'd become a parent with Tegan who he's carried a torch for 10 years. When the kids are kidnapped he'll move heaven and earth to find them before it's too late. His biggest challenge may be pink tutus, stuffed Llamas and taking a little girl to dinner who loves pink. Now can he convince Tegan they could have a HEA or will this be his hardest mission in his career?

Author does a good job explaining about characters, but it might have made more sense if I had read first book. But I will read the third next to find out the mysteries this book ends with. Logan and Teagan get their HEA -- kids are adorable. I do think that their decision to hook up came about quickly after just being friends -- but they truly fell in love with the whole person, not just each others' beauty/looks. So there are lots of Qs at the end -- looking forward to getting the answers in the next book.

But there is bad language. I usually don't continue a book with it, but the characters were so real and the story so touching, I had to read it. And, even though I didn't like the language, I could see them using it. Just really didn't have to though. So, I did go with five stars. Yes, I am looking forward to the last in the series.

Teagan and Logan are two characters that had put career before this self. Now thing was throwing their lives in a uproar. How was it all going to work out. Leave it up to Kalyn Cooper to bring you a amazing story, well written, full of emotions and suspense. You will truly enjoy the journey. Im so looking forward to reading the next book. Grab the first two books and fall into A true world of love......... its never to late

The love for the children was handled exceptional. They are soldiers. Where was the action? Hope #3 book has more action. Looking forward to it.

I liked the hero and heroine adopting their deceased friends children. I liked the setting on the beach on the east coast

A most fitting follow up to A love never forgotten. Reagan and Logan find themselves unexpectedly “ inheriting “ their two godchildren and the complications from their father’s treasonous behaviour. A beautiful love story and suspenseful as well. Nicely set up for book 3.

A good read, with memories of war, intrigue plus romance with children thrown into the plot.

I read the first book in this series & it was excellent, couldn't put it down. I was delighted to find book number two.. - but I have to say that although it was a good read it isn't a patch on the previous one!

Other than a few editing mistakes that interrupted the flow of reading I enjoyed the book. A good story with a good amount of love and humour. KaLyn also tackled a couple of more deep subjects and have them the detail and discussion they deserved. Looking forward to the next one.

Wow loved the whole book, very powerful with so much intrigue and evilness you really want the good guys to succeed. I recommend to everyone to get into this series its excellent. I have to get the next one now!! Thanks great read.
