Is this REALLY the L6?

It is indeed. I bought one as a travel razor and is identical to my existing L6. I have heard some vendors rarely ship old L5's. To make 100% sure it's always best to confirm with the seller. I've never had a problem getting my L6's here on Amazon.

What stand would you order/do you own, that can fit this razor?

Try Colonel Conk on Amazon for a selection of razor stands. The chrome plated Evernice is $21.53, and a reasonable price compared to other similar products available.

I just switched to DE shaving and expected a closer shave. Using Astra Superior Premium Platinum. Any suggestions how to use? What angle?

I've been using those same blades with this. They are know to be mild blades and this DE is also known to have a mild angle. I also can't get a super close shave unless I let it grow for at least three days. I've tried Wilkinson Sword blades and those do seem sharper. Try a sample pack and maybe you can find one that works better.

Is the lord razor an adjustable razor that allows you to adjust the closeness?
