REED MEN'S BASEBALL SUEDE LEATHER JACKET (IMPORTED)

I look too good in this jacket to allow a photo to be made public--I have a steady girlfriend, after all. Seriously, it's one of very few items I've ever purchased I would call perfect. I am 6'2" 185 lbs. medium build and the large tall fits like it's made to measure. I got the smooth leather versus the suede and it looks like top grade materials. Bottom line I've owned 5 leather jackets in the past 30 years including 2 I had made for me when stationed in Turkey and this one blows them all out of the water. The ideal jacket I had in my head since I was 23 is finally in my wardrobe.

In looking at the other reviews the jacket comes in at a slightly lighter color. I ordered Camel. But not too much of a difference and not a problem from my point of view. I would read the other reviews on sizing. For reference I am 5'8" with a 46" chest in a suit jacket. I was going to order large, which often fits, but not always. I decided to go up slightly to XL and that was the correct choice. Fits good to the waist right to the belt. Chest size came in at just right for my size. Not a lot of extra room and not baggy. The arms, as other reviews noted, seem to have a bit more space than they should but with the elastic cuff it does not run over my wrist, which is good. Overall the fit is quite nice. I normally have issues with length of arms vs. chest size, but this ultimately fits within the range I consider acceptable. Very nice quality and all suede and nicely made and cannot beat the price. It arrived rather quickly as well.

Expected something great from Reed and they delivered. Just a great jacket. Real quality, bang for your buck. Have had many leather coats and jackets and need to say that this is one of the best. Ordered a size medium, it's a good fit. Not overly large. For me, the jacket is like a coat not thin and will do well for most winter ware until real Michigan cold sets in. Even then paired with a sweater this would work. I'm impressed with this product and its a great deal .

I live in a coastal region with cool summer evenings so the tan suede jacket has been, for years, a perfect garment to put on over a t-shirt or golf shirt to keep the chill off. I've purchased these jackets before (not from Reed) and they have usually been popular enough that they get stolen! Yes, I've lost two of them over 20 years. So I saw the tan and brown ones offered by Reed and purchased both.The tiniest comment I have is that these jackets from Reed are meant for cold weather, (40-50 F), not chilly weather (60 F). So in my hometown, for my climate, they really are only good for 2 seasons at best, not year round.I kept both garments that I ordered because I like the styling but still wish I could find one that is not designed for cold, windy weather. If Reed started making a lighter version I would buy them again!

Love it, love it. It is exactly the way I define a great leather jacket...fits well, quality material and construction. It fits perfectly, which is always a concern when buying a garment online, especially a 2XLT.Based on my experience, you should buy the size you normally purchase.Thank you!

This is a very nice jacket, dressy and casual all in one, good quality, and at a price about 1/4 what I have seen the same thing elsewhere. I don't know what happened with reviewers who had trouble with the fitting, but I take a L in shirts, sweaters, etc., and this L jacket fits me perfectly.

nicely made great fit

As many have indicated, one size larger than your normal fit is a good choice. I normally wear Large, sometimes Medium in shirts and sweaters. I'm 5'9'' and have a 44" chest and 33" waist. I got the XL here and the chest size and arm length are just about right, maybe a little baggy in the arms, but that's probably also good if you wear this over something like a sweater. I might be able to get away with a Large, and might try that if I order another in a different color. The brown is a dark brown, kind of like a dark walnut wood stain. The overall jacket length is a bit shorter than I would like, hitting at belt height rather than hip height, but that's OK. If you wear your shirt tail untucked, like with a knit shirt, the shirt is likely to stick out below the jacket. The waist elastic is a bit springy on initial fit, but I suspect it will loosen over time. Jacket quality is good. The satin lining matches the jacket color.I have a circa 20-year old Timberland suede jacket that was much more expensive, even then, and this compares favorably. We'll see how it holds up over time (I've only worn it once). This came via USPS (boo tracking) and shipped in a plastic shipping bag.

Really nice quality. The leather is neither too thin or too thick. Just right.
