This Bluetooth speaker is great. It connected easily to all our Bluetooth devices without problem ( I phone 4,5,6, I pad, iPod touch 4, Dragon Tablet M8, Samsung trance basic cell phone.) The Bluetooth connection is very stable. This is a two channel stereo system the right channel is on the upper speaker and the left channel on the bottom. The system is rated at 2X3W RMS and It is believable. The speakers are big very efficient and give a great sound with spectacular response time particularly important for percussion, very good bass for a speaker of this size, very crisp medium and high. The high can sometime sound a little bit harsh with some audio files but the bass and treble tone controls are very effective to correct this. The amplifier seem to be amazingly efficient Class C or D?) delivering a lot of acoustic power with apparently little electric consumption. The battery capacity seem to be phenomenal. We charged the device to 100% upon receipt and we did not have to recharge it since then. The speaker have two input mode: Bluetooth and an auxiliary input. It does not have an SD card reader or a radio or any USB input. It does not include a charger but a cable (which is kind of short by the way) that can be use with any standard USB charger that can be purchased for few dollar anywhere but you probably have one already coming with your cell phone or your tablet. The speaker can play while charging. It also include a cable for feeding the device from an earphone plug and this work very well. Read the manual of your cell phone or tablet to know how to pair it to your speaker for the first time. Once done the speaker will automatically pair with the last device he was paired to once power-up if the device is on with Bluetooth on and within range. Caution: the speaker does not seen to power down automatically when inactive like most Bluetooth speakers, so it is prudent to turn it off manually when not in use. Also the 4 inch driver are only partially protected and it is possible to touch the Mylar membrane. This should be avoided because you risk to damage the driver. This speaker is large for a portable device but in exchange you got unmatched sound quality and power compared to most others Bluetooth speakers even those costing $200. Finally the speaker is easy to open for servicing such as changing the battery or the led for anyone a little bit handy and there is a lot of room to work inside if needed. Don't try this only if needed though.

The charging cable/connector to your phone that comes with this is so short that it's eccentially useless unless you have your phone sitting directly on or next to it. Would highly recommend getting a new one ASAP. That said, this thing is an absolutely fantastic speaker for the price. It has the most impressive battery life I've ever seen. My charger for it went missing ages ago, and I keep using it, just waiting for it to die on me, and it still hasn't. Its been months of using it on again off again and it's still kicking. It gets thrown around, knicked, knocked, and abused, and never even shows a lick of it through the sound quality. If you do put the volume all the way up on your phone and the speakers, the bass starts to sound pretty bad. This thing isn't perfect, but for the price, it's probably the most reliable thing you're gonna get.

For $35, this product was decent. I have a Bluetooth HMDX speaker which is way smaller and I believe it is louder than the Sylvania speaker. Does not have a lot of bass and when you turn up the bass, the sound quality lowers. I believe it should be cheaper because it feels like a cheap product and sounds like one. The worst part about the speaker is the bluetooth connectivity. The bluetooth on this device is just bad. I live in a college dorm and so the dorm is tiny. When I am not even 5 feet away, the bluetooth struggles and the music's gets cut off. Overall, I would not recommend this product because you can get a small speaker that is louder for less. Try the HMDX speaker, I highly recommend it.

Sound is Awesome. The only problem I have with it is the bluetooth connection keeps dropping and then reconnecting. Causes little delays in play back or little interruptions. Rather anoying. Sound output is great. Nice Big speaker. I thought the connection would work better if I plugged it in. Though that didn't help. The speaker was fully charged before I set it up to work outside with music playing. I will be listing to an album and then the device will disconnect or pause. Not a problem with the kindle as I have another smaller speaker that works just fine. Just doesn't put out the sound like this speaker does. Sound Volume is great, no distortion. The only issue I have is with the frequent pauses in music playback.

The value of this speaker is pretty great. It has been great to use so far with little complaints from my point of view. The only thing that that maybe I wish was a little better was that the bass and treble controls when both get turned up towards highest setting the sound starts to become to distorted. As long as both are not turned up high at the same time then they speaker is great especially for the price. It is pretty loud and have not had any trouble with Bluetooth connection so far either. I recommend this product to those looking for a speaker to be able to sit around outside and listen to music or things of that nature. It is not a home theater system so don't expect it to be bar room loud.

Totally worth it. Had a Bluetooth speaker tower that I've owned for about 4/5 years, decent product, but it's finally showing some wear and tear that I know means it's life is ending soon. My family and I have a lot of outdoor/music fests LOL so a Bluetooth speaker with aux-input has always been great for us. Rather than let our current speaker die out & be stuck searching and making an impulse buy, I was proactive and took a look on here to see what was out there. After comparing prices, reviews, style, and capability - this was the best one. And TRUST ME, I am verrrry frugal and this is a steal for this kind of speaker. I love that it has a handle and an old-school boombox speaker style vibe to it, with buttons and the ability to charge via USB. It's a beautiful speaker (love the blue lights) and has quality sound. You can adjust the bass and treble based on your preferences which is pretty cool. MUCH louder than my other tower (which is about the same size) and honestly I plan to pitch my other one now that this has come in. I give it a 5 - can't beat $30 for a great portable speaker.

I received the Sylvania SP328-Black Portable Bluetooth speaker on December 24, 2017. I wanted to use it a while before I wrote a review. The Sylvanis Bluetooth speaker's case is built very sturdy, I like that. I have read the other reviews from customers who, did not like this Bluetooth because they stated "that it shuts down in the middle of their songs," but if you fully charge the bluetooth, and the Android or IPhone, it will not cut your songs short. Another thing is, you should always get the insurance that sales with any electronic equipment, this can save you the frustrations of trying to return it if something goes wrong, you'er covered. The sound of this bluetooth is to me just fine! I love the bass and loudness of it. It's light weight enough to carry from room to room without any strain on your arms or back. All in all, I love the sound, the construction, the weight, the affordability and the 3-4 year insurance coverage and for me, this was a great buy.

Affordable, good sound, good volume, long battery life, Bluetooth will stay connected a couple of rooms away. The proprietary charger is baffling, no reason to not use micro USB at this point, but even that is something I could look past. HOWEVER... If you are listening to a song or a podcast (this happens all the time during podcasts) and there is any part longer than half a second or so where the track is quiet, the connection cuts out and then turns back on like half a second after there is volume on the track again. This is REALLY irritating and makes some podcasts nearly unlistenable. I'm guessing this was a feature to save battery life, but it really makes some things unenjoyable. If you're only using this speaker for music, you should be fine. I can't recommend it otherwise.

Retuned this right away. The Bluetooth pairing did not work. How long have we had Bluetooth by the way? That said, the box appears to have quite a few features for the price. The FM radio had me excited but did not even try that as my #1 need was unmet. Weight was on the lighter side for the size of the device, typically means a tinnier sound.

Good speaker for a room no larger than 24' x 24'. Sound is good. If you leave the room with your cell phone the music playing cuts out as blue tooth capacity is limited. Good value.
