This is a great ashtray. I was looking for one with a felt bottom so it doesn’t scratch our table. This is the one! The quality is great and it looks very nice

Love this ashtray, high quality and looks great on my desk. When I wash it, I am a bit leery of getting the felt on the bottom wet, as I don't want to ruin the ashtray. It also is a bit heavy, so if you need an ashtray in more than one place (I don't), I would recommend getting either more than one, or another type for backup. Having said that, I am very pleased with this purchase!

Very cool Celtic design. I dont use it for an ashtray, I use it to keep house/car keys and other knick-knacks in it. Solid, sturdy construction.

got this as a gift for my boyfriend who, since not a big smoker, never actually got an ashtray so will use an empty can when outside for the times he does smoke. Not all ashtrays are good for outdoor use but this is perfect. heavy enough to not blow away. much heavier and substantial than expected. Love the Celtic print that is obvious but yet not tacky, silly looking for overdone. just subtle enough to add a little personalization to the Irish household. would also blend in to any room for indoor use

This ashtray absolutely exceeded my expectations. I'm using this ashtray for a Volcano vaporizer that I bought. So, the ashtray is only housing dried up herbs.The ashtray has a nice felt-like bottom, and has some good weight to it. So it sits nicely on a coffee table, for example. The ashtray itself has a nice texture as well, almost like faux-stone.This designs are as they look in the pictures, and they look absolutely great. Awesome purchase, would recommend.

For you smokers, this is a great ashtray. I wanted something a bit bigger than what I was using but not so big that I would be lazy about emptying it and I really like the design. This is the perfect size. The four holders hold cigarettes perfectly and the knotwork design in the bottom really helps extinguish cigs easily.

This is our second purchase of this specific item. It is very nice and a great gift for anyone who is Irish, etc. and would enjoy the Celtic design. It does chip, however so there's that. Otherwise it's great and sturdy. We get compliments on the design all the time.

I agree with the other reviews (which I read before ordering - thanks for those reviews!). This item is substantial, beautiful, and the felt on the bottom to prevent scratches is greatly appreciated. The size is perfect - large without being huge. The color is a dark slate, unobtrusive, but attractive. I am very pleased with this purchase and if I had not ordered two, I would be back ordering a second! ;)
