Cheap but does the job
I bought this not being 100% sure that it'd actually work as advertised, as it seemed too cheap. But I'm glad to say it has all the features advertised. It certainly looks cheap - it's a small metal box with that ugly lettering on the top, but it's just fit nicely under my monitor so who cares what it looks like I guess?I'm using this to run my PC, Xbox One X, Nintendo Switch and retro consoles (via OSSC) to my 4K HDR monitor, and then a capture device on the second output. I'm glad to say they all work just fine through this matrix. To confirm then, this product DOES support:* 4K resolution at 60Hz. I have my PC on input one, my Xbox on input two and they both display at 4K no problems.* HDR. Happy to say both my PC and Xbox can pass through HDR.* Freesync - My monitor supports Freesync through HDMI, so does my PC's graphics card, and it seems to pass through just fine. The only issue I have is with the remote control which is made out of light, flimsy plastic with little round buttons that are terrible to use. It just feels awful. But I can overlook that since it all works just fine otherwise.

Works most of the time
The Switch actually passes a good 4k signal and hdr too so long as all outputs are hdr, if you ahve one output that isnt hdr it drops it to normal 4k rgb, downsizing to 1080p worked ok too. Unfortunately the signal on the one I got disconnects periodically for 2-8 seconds at a time which isnt great when playing games or watching movies. Going to try another one and see if its any better, if I can get one that works it will be perfect.

Supplied with illegal and dangerous plug
Not at all happy that I was sent this with an illegal cheap euro to UK adapter. If you sell and aupple electrical goods in the UK, they have to be supplied with the proper plug, NOT an adapter that's not even tested or certified anywhere except china

No brainer if you need a switch.
Good built quality. Very easy to operate. I consider the optic input for sound a big benefit.

Do not buy - it does not work
This device is a waste of money. After taking professional advice, I bought this switch splitter to split the signal from a satellite box to a TV and a projector - a task well within the advertised specifications. It failed. The signal to the TV was OK, but the signal to the projector, which was only 4 metres away, was useless. At 1080p resolution, there was no image at all, at 1080i and even 720, the image was intermittent. After lengthy investigation, I established the problem could only be the splitter. I replaced it with a powered Techole splitter (at a quarter of the price) and everything works perfectly. I've returned the HDMI Matrix and got a refund - but I'll never get back the time I spent working out it was a load of rubbish!

does not handle 4k
I have had mine for some time now, at first I thought there was a problem with my tv but as time went on I realized it was the matrix, it kept cutting out and losing the signal to the tv, I was using it to split sky to two TVs after a while I changed the HDMI leads thinking they were the problem, in the end, I bypassed the matrix, this solved the problem, I tried the matrix on different TVs in my house and the same problem occurred, this will not handle 4k and cuts out periodically.it's going in the bin. learn from my mistake and by branded

Potential Lethal plug adapter, avoid!
Potentially lethal. The unit itself works, however, the plug adapter it is supplied with is not within UK regulations. The plug does not fit the adaptor well. The adaptor came apart in my hand, no fuse, and very cheaply made. Go for a branded version and avoid this!
