great book
this series of books are great for beginners and even advance people. I have just started college for a web design degree and wanted to get a book to get a head start on some of the things that I would be learning. This book gives step by step instructions that is easy to follow. I would recommend this product series to anyone who is wanting to learn.

Did anyone proof read this thing?
Never mind the spelling errors, because we all know you can still easily follow along with a few spelling errors; the instructions are so confusing sometimes! I've been working through the "about us" page in Dreamweaver, then at the end of the instructions, it tells you to close the spa page (a completely different page that isn't related to this one, or even open), then continues to instruct you through the about us page (so it's obviously not supposed to be closed, either). What? How, pray do tell, does one close a page that isn't open, and hasn't even been referenced in this chapter? The book is ok, if not very dated (some of the instructions tell you to use features which aren't even available in dreamweaver anymore)

Works for students, nice 3 in 1
This book is nice because it has 3 programs all rolled into one book. It does have silly skill reviews at the end of each chapter, but they actually do have the files online that you can download and use with the reviews. Overall the books get the point across, spelling mistakes or not. Granted for my classes we didn't use every skill review, but I didn't run across any instructions that seemed out of place.
