Working perfectly abut older older homes be wary.
After installation, this light switch is working great. However (No fault of the seller.), if you live in a home with old wiring, you might need a professional to install the light switch. My original light switch has old wiring which only had 2 wires instead of 4 wires (currrent standard). Luckily, my cousin is an electrician and helped me install the light switch with some work. The light switch has 4 wires:Black wire - Line InRed wire - loadWhite wire - neutral lineGreen wire - Ground

Modern look and swipe touch dimming feature
This smart dimmer switch was purchased to replace the manual Leviton dimmer switch with a WiFi app controlled switch for our teenagers room. Our house has several smart switches made by different companies but they only perform On/Off and the ability to program schedules. After researching several brands we decided on Teckin because of other customer uploaded quick videos and appearance of this switch. This switch is simple to install since it has color coded stranded wires on the back of the switch. Our electrical box is metal and from the 1961 construction so the box does not have a lot of space for bulky dimmer switches in addition to wire twist caps. The first thing I check is that my current wiring has the white neutral line separate from the load line that runs to the light. Some of my newer boxes in the house had the load line ran to the box that uses the both the white and black hot line as a switching wire . That type of wiring does not allow for the smart switches requiring a neutral line but I was fortunate this box did have the neutral line. I label the wires when removing the previous dimmer switch and then place the ground and neutral wires and their wire twist caps on bottom of the box and the hot and load twist caps at the top of the box. This configuration allows me to place the bulky switch into this small steel box with no issue. This switch gives you the option to use the included faceplate or your own faceplate which is a bonus. After the wiring is complete be prepared to pair the switch with the smartlife application. I made the mistake of waiting too long since after 5 minutes of providing power to the switch and having the switch blink, it will not pair on the first attempt if you exceed five minutes. This is an easy fix, just have your app ready by creating an account and having the smartlife skill activated with your Alexa app on your smart phone. Then press the light switch and continue to hold the button until the blinking returns. Then the app will locate the switch and pair before the pairing status reaches 30%. The Alexa will also find the switch at the same time the smart life is registering the switch. In fact my teenagers phone received a notification that her switch was found while she was at work, so she already knew before coming home that I replaced her switch! The dimmer is not a press or push button, you only have to slide your finger up and down the switch. The white tiny led lets you know the previous light brightness before you turn it on or off the switch. We are very satisfied with the installation and operation of this switch. I will upload my own video to demonstrate how we replaced our older dimmer with this upgraded version.

Easiest to install and works.
I must agree this is the best switch I’ve ever owned. There are several reasons why I said that because I’ve owned a several wi-fi switches and they were difficult to install. The reason was the instruction wasn’t clear enough and wasn’t detailed oriented like this one does. They were using third party applications which we have to download and register an account. This one uses Smart Life app and as you all know; Smart Life app works very well with Alexa and Google Assistant. I can automate my lights with ease. I couldn’t upload my video on amazon because maybe the file was too big or something was wrong with my phone. I will try again later to show the whole installation process and how to get it up and running in no time. If you are in the market for one, I highly recommended this product. Forget the rest, this is the best!

Great smart dimmer switch once I got it to work
Installation is easy, same as if it would be regular dimmer. In my case I had a problem with dimming functionality. I have replaced my manual FEIT electric dimmer which worked just fine with the Sylvania LED dimmable bulbs (I have 6 in the ceiling). But for whatever reason this smart dimmer would not dim them. They were always on 100% no matter the dimming position. I almost thought I got a lemon, but then I tried different LED bulb and it was working flawlessly. Not sure what that particular LED might have or not have which the dimmer do not support. I got those Sylvania LEDs long time ago so perhaps the electronics inside the bulbs have changed a little since then. I have not seen anybody else complaining about the dimming not working so I guess I got unlucky with the original LED bulbs. With the Zilotech LEDs I have it works great. No flickering, the lowest setting is just right. Very happy with it's performance. The dimmer has decent green light when off. I use Alexa and the Smart Life Android app and both are working flawlessly.

Easy to install and works great with Google Home
Like the rest of the TECKIN smart products this switch is super easy to install, configure, and operate. I had zero issues installing it, but make sure your house has a white common wire prior to installing, as that will be required. I imagine all newer houses have these, mine did, but older homes could have issues with that.Below are the pros and cons I found for the switch.Pros: - Super easy to install if you've ever replaced a light switch before - Added to the TECKIN app on the first try in about 15 seconds - Very responsive and fast when issuing commands from Google Home - Touch dimming works very well - Works with dimmable LED lights - Like all other TECKIN app devices you can schedule on and off times for the smart deviceCons: - Doesn't dim as low as the old previous mechanical dimmer I had on. For me this didn't impact my usage since we never dim the dinning room light that low, but it's worth pointing out just in case someone is expecting a really low light.I was pretty surprised the switch worked so well. The TECKIN products always setup easily and work consistently better than many other, even named brand, products I've purchased. I may purchase an additional switch or two for a few other dimmable lights we have.
