Love this device
Love this device. It works great. I bought a similar device (from another brand) that supposedly do the same HDMI but it didn't. What makes this device unique is that it transport the USB data using standard TCP (or UDP) packets. Not some proprietary format. Because of that, this device can be used over network infrastructures (using network switches and hub). It does not require a direct, single cable connection to work (as opposed to the others). I even successfully used mine over a network using a LAN powerline adapter (http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WPA4220KIT-ADVANCED-Universal-Powerline/dp/B00HSQAIQU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1435007676&sr=8-1&keywords=lan+powerline).They only thing is that it requires a driver (so only works on computers... can't work on, say, a TV for example). But I needed it for my PC that was on another room, so that was not a problem.

It works!
It works fine, it just didn't work for the mission critical application we were attempting to use it in. It requires drivers.. which makes it a complete pain.. and the application that needs to run, at least on windows, runs in the system tray and would sometimes glitch out. we were trying to use 2 usb webcam's streaming simultaneously, so that may have added to complicating the setup but when it worked it worked great. When you need to exceed the extremely short maximum specified length of USB and there are no alternate options this product works great. If there are alternate product options and you are looking for something mission critical I would recommend avoiding USB altogether, but for recreational or household use, go for it!

Go Driverless
Unable to install driver, nothing but problems. I would recommend a unit that is driverless...

One Star
This box requires specific drivers additional running software to operate. This causes nothing but problems. Stay away!
