BTW - Pickup sounds great. **Q: I'm going to heavily modify a squier Bronco bass. can it handle low tunings?** A: This is what most people use to upgrade a bronco. Has a great sound! **Q: Would this be considered a humbucker or a single coil?** A: It's a hum bucker and also the whole point of it - to be able to fit a humbucker in a single coil slot. Also, that pickup sounds great! **Q: Normally, humbuckers run best on 500k pots, have anyone changed theirs for this or just kept it at 250k, like most single coil?** A: You statement is correct, but it's a matter of sound preference based on research.
