Nice Trashy Sound
The trashy sound you get from this cymbal are incredible. It can be crashed loud or ridden lightly for a jazz gig. I absolutely love this thing and use it every day. I enjoy the sustain as well.

Deep, Rich Oriental Sound
I purchased this cymbal as a gift for my boyfriend, who is a professional drummer. He was instantly enamored with the unique distressed appearance, and the rich Oriental sound. He's gotten a number of compliments on this latest addition to his kit. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants to expand their equipment collection.

Makes a perfect full bodied crash ride that doesn't get in the way in a small or larger group setting. Good choice for the "one cymbal to take." -Ben

Love this cymbal!
I have had one of these in my setup for about 4 years now and I couldn’t go without it now. It has such a unique look and sound.

Cymbalic Perfection
For a washy ride, this is the best and I've fallen madly in love with it. Granted, it's not for everyone or every genre of music. It is unique and I would recommend investigating fully, seeing, touching, and playing one before buying. If you haven't access to one, listen closely to online sound-files before buying it. But, I have to add that it has a permanent place in my stuff.

Definite must buy!
I used this cymbal at my high school. Most beautiful cymbal I've ever played! Long ring and amazing sound quality! Must buy from marching to drum sets!

More than the name suggests
I just received this cymbal from Amazon, and am totally enamoured with it. The crash sound is quite low pitched and trashy, with the flatter profile and slightly upturned edge achieving some china-like tendencies. Despite the unique crash properties, this cymbal isn't particularly loud thanks to how thin it is (part of what makes it so crashable). That said, the crash sound is trashy and gongy, and not always appropriate as a regular crash but better as an accent. If that was where the properties if this cymbal ended, I would be slightly underwhelmed and wouldn't find it particularly useful. However, with small sticks and a lighter touch this cymbal this is actually a wonderful jazz ride. It has a woody and defined stick sound, a beautiful dark wash, trashy accents and a bright and very playable bell. Using this as a ride has made the investment more than worthwhile. Despite the name, this cymbal really rewards a lighter touch and more nuanced playing. If that sounds like you, I would highly recommend this as a versatile and unique cymbal.

This is the cymbal of my dreams
The wash on this is gong-like, so dark and atmospheric. I am tired of bright crash sounds and this is perfect for the darker ambience I'm looking for. The bell is haunting, it can even be used as a washy ride. The crash, alongside my agop 30th anniversary, is my pride and joy. As time goes on, I see it denting more and more (since it is pretty thin it is not as durable sadly), but I will immediately purchase another when it breaks.

Good cymbal, but extremely poorly packed.
The cymbal came shipped in a box about double its size, with one crumpled piece of paper and the Zildjian plastic bag as protection. It's a wonder it arrived intact.

A musical trash can lid...In a good way!
Dark, expressive, trashy crash/ride.Nice cutting bell. Little overtones. Speaks quickly and gets out of the way. Nice blend to the mix!
