Bright lights
Our outside flood light has been inoperable for months (more likely years). During a post-hurricane cleanup, I discovered both bulbs burned out. I cleaned up the receptacles, reflectors, and lenses and installed two new bulbs. Works great now.

Very Bright
I needed a 50w but could only find a 100w to make sure I got the exact brand that was already installed. And Wow is it Much Brighter which I don't mind at all But, it gets Very very Hot if on the high setting. I had to take the glass cover off the vent hood to make sure it didn't brake due to the Heat. Even on the low setting it gets pretty Hot so Just be careful Where you use these.

Not only did the bulb come cracked which I didn't see initially, but it burned out my lamp!
Okay, this wasn't packaged b badly, but it had a hairline crack in it, and apparently that affected how it worked in my desk lamp. I've had my lamp a long time, buy my bulbs generally at Lowe's, but thought I'd get it on line and have it delivered as it was very windy here. Anyway, I got the bulb, put it in the lamp, and sometime during the time it was on, it burned out my lamp. I was so shocked!!! It had only been in for a short number of hours -- should not have happened, but the fact that the bulb came cracked was the issue. When I went to pull it o ut of the lamp, the bulb completely broke in pieces on one side and I had to remove the 'prong' on the bulb with a pair of pliers. What a terrible experience. I had to go out and buy another lamp, as I do a lot of work at the computer at home for my classes -- and it cost me $53 to get a new one. This was a horrible experience for me personally, costly as well. The $8.50 I am getting back is not enough to make up for this fiasco!
