Do you need to bleach your hair before hand for the green? And how well does it last compared to others?

It does work on dark hair, the colour comes out darker. I always bleached mine before hand but you don't necessarily have to. It lasts quite a while if you take care of it properly. It's the nicest smelling hair dye around and the colours are better than any others.

How many washes does it last for?

When my daughter first started using it, it lasted about 4-5wks (2-3 wash’s a week). She gets it done roughly every 6 wks now & has kept its colour.
