Excellent sound system for the price!
Up until a few months ago I had never heard of Edifier. Once I did some research on Reddit I decided to bite the bullet and try them for my gaming computer. The packaging was great, there was no damage to any of the speakers. The remote is a bit odd but it works pretty well. The speakers sound very good for both gaming and music. In games they bring out higher range detail well without sounding tinny and the lower range has good detail that doesn't sound muffled. You can turn these up to a pretty healthy db with no discernible distortion or rattling. The sub has been great, there's no hint of rattling or interference from neighbouring wireless devices. The sub has never had pairing problems that has required a power cycle. You get a wide variety of input options with these such as optical, bluetooth w/ aptX support, RCA and coax. One minor issue depending on how far you plan on spacing these apart is they don't use standard speaker wires to connect to the other speaker. It was pretty decently long and there may be an extension cable that's available if needed. I wish that the speakers had an option to flip the right channel to left as I need the speaker with optical on the left and prefer to not use a software option to switch left to right. It's a minor problem but it's preventing me from being able to use optical due to my desk setup. If you don't want to lose vertical room for placement it can be a bit tricky since there's no mounting holes on the bottom. I'm not quite sure where the amp is placed inside the cabinet (did not want to risk drilling into it) so on the bottom of the cabinet I used permanent tape for mounting. The build quality on the set is solid. The plastic on the front seems pretty thick with no flexing, the cabinet is sturdy and the knobs and buttons feel like they'll hold up well with usage. Overall, it's a great setup that is suitable for a gaming setup or a setting like a bedroom where you don't need a big driver to fill the area.

Amazing Quality and Sound for the Price Point!
I am always skeptical of buying brands I am unfamiliar with, however after extensive research, poking around forums, review pages, and of course Amazon Reviews, it was very apparent that these speakers are highly sought after and well worth the extra for the newer version. - The Wireless feature of the sub-woofer is quite nice, all you have to do is plug in the power wire, it connects to the control speaker without any interaction. - The build quality of all the speakers is very high. The materials, the way they were secured, the speaker materials, etc are all signs of a well developed setup. - The controls all are self explanatory, no real science to them. They work and do their jobs well. The remote; when in Bluetooth, controls all of your needs in terms of skipping songs, volume, etc. On the remote you have every input as an option to select, no need to make any adjustments to the hardware. - The sound quality appears to be getting better the longer I use them. As with most electronics, there is a burn in period of sorts where the equipment will work it's way into operation and you'll notice how much crisper the quality is and the bass only get's better as well. - You are given all the connections you would need to connect except for 1 which likely most people won't use anyways. You get a Fiber Optic cable, a little short, but better than nothing, You get your standard RCA Red and White Cable, and then you get an RCA --> 3.5mm Headphone Jack. This will definitely get you listening to music one way or another. - The Bluetooth connection has worked flawless thus far, I have seen no issues with connection to my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ which I assume is the latest Bluetooth connection available. To Wrap up my long winded sentences, The speakers can work in many different platforms... Gaming PC, Sound Editing/ Creation, Home Theater, Home Gaming, Garage Speakers, Room Speakers, etc. I took 6 photos, hopefully they all went through properly, hopefully a good example of a typical environment for where these speakers would normally end up.

Crystal clear with great bass in a stylish package.
After some research, and good discount, I decided to pick up the S360DB. Well, prepare to hear music in a new level of detail. The "out-of-the-box" sound is immediately super clear but I love tons of bass so I cranked that up and now we're rockin'!! Treble still comes through amazingly clear, with cymbals and snares much more alive than my previous setup (soundbar + sub). And with the bass turned up, stuff in your room will definitely be rattling! The value of this is great - so my only complaint is a small one. The remote design seems over complicated, and difficult to use in the dark. Due to the remote's perfectly round shape it is hard to tell by feel which direction you're holding it and where the buttons are. Using PC mode, I get a loud static hum after turning off my computer until I turn the speakers off as well. Same deal when the Aux cord is unplugged, so finding the power button easily would be nice. Yes, I could always turn the speakers off *before* the computer, but a normal remote design, while less interesting, would get the job done a little better here. Overall I can deal with the wacky, round remote because the sound quality and value are excellent, plus they have good looks to match!

Great sound -- Horrible remote control!
I have been living with these speakers for two years and one month now. Disclaimer: I am not an audiophile. I use these speakers to listen to YouTube videos, and streaming content on Netflix and Amazon prime. To my ear, they sound true. Speech sounds as if the person is in the room with me. They're excellent speakers. They deserve 5-stars for sound. But.. I give them only a 4-star rating because the remote control is the stupidest design imaginable. It's round. That's right, pick it up and you have no way of knowing where it's pointing (and it has to be pointed exactly at the receiver). And the buttons are arranged circularly (of course on a round device) without spaces between them--which means that one is not distinguishable from the next by touch (adding to the difficulty of pushing the correct button is again the aim must be spot on). This thing is designed to be the most difficult and frustrating to use remote EVER. This is just a completely stupid design. I'm guessing it was probably the cheapest way to package a remote (round shape saves costs--literally, cutting corners) but what an absolute, shlitty, frustrating device it is. In my picture, you can see that my solution was to add some silicone rubber to one area of one of the buttons so that I can at least feel which way the remote should be facing. It's still an abominably, piss-poor remote.

Massively impressed - much better than expected
I just unboxed this and hooked it up to my workstation. First thing I tried was Geoff Castelluci's rendition of "The Sounds of Silence" (it's on youtube - search for it). This recording has some very lowly rumbly bass - which up until now I've only been able to hear on high end headphones. But now with the S360DB? Holy cow. EQ is set entirely flat and these speakers absolutely nailed it. Overall the sound is just excellent, perfect presence. Definitely the best set of powered speakers I've tried to date. And it's not even close. And I'm counting a Klipsh 2.1 powered system in this comparison. Overall build quality is excellent. Good packaging too - because the outer box got stabbed in shipment, but the speakers are unscathed.

Stopped working after 2 years
I bought these speakers in September of 2022 and they sounded great. I used them in my office at work. Other than adjusting the volume, I never touched them and they've been wired to the same PC since I purchased them. They recently quit making any sound. The company helpdesk determined that the entire unit was bad. We switched out the cord from the PC to the unit which didn't help. We plugged in another set of speakers and they worked fine. These are too expensive to only get 2 years use out of.

Absolutely amazing
This set is outstanding. My friend got the 350db a while back and we’ve been completely blown away by the sound quality. These speakers are literally perfect in every way, in my opinion. The sub is huge and it shakes me entire house, I bet the whole neighborhood could hear the bass at full volume. The sound quality is so crisp, it makes me smile every time I play a song. It doesn’t matter what song either, this set has a range of 160hz so it picks up a wider range of sounds for your ears to enjoy. As an audiophile on a budget, this is absolutely perfect in every way possible. The Bluetooth connection is flawless. The setup is an absolute no-brainer (it’s practically plug-and-play) with minimal wires. The only downside (and I’m being critical at this point) the remote control is a bit… interesting to say the least, but it works fine it’s just shaped like a circle… and it’s kind of hard to recognize the buttons in the dark so I’ve found myself accidentally turning off my speakers when I’m trying to increase the volume. I just won’t use the remote as much Bc it’s Bluetooth and I can control the volume from my phone. In terms of value for your money, this is the complete starter pack for music junkies. Look no further, you’ve found the only $500 set of speakers that you can actually compare to more expansive sets. Enjoy!

You don't know what you're not hearing until you finally hear it...
As I sit here listening to my new speakers ... a live acoustic track from Chris Cornell ... one that I've heard 100 times before now ... but now ... I can actually hear the sound of his guitar pick as it strikes the strings... a distinctive sound that you're familiar with if you've ever played guitar. But not just that ... but the applause from the audience ... the comments they shout out ... I swear when I close my eyes, I can feel like I'm there, the audio is just that clear and that crisp ... it's like it's high def ... or 3-D ... hard to explain ... but the bottom line is, you just don't know what you're not hearing until you finally hear it. Now granted, I'm using an audio program on my laptop that has a 32 band EQ, so I can tune my sound as precise as I need to ... so you won't necessarily get this kind of result just using the bass and treble adjustments on the side of the speaker. But I'm positive that whatever you're use to, if they aren't nice speakers, you'll notice a huge difference with these. The wireless subwoofer is REALLY nice and there is absolutely no delay in the audio signal ... none that I can perceive anyways. So that leaves this system with only three wires needed to use it, the power for the bookshelf speakers, the power for the sub, and the wire that connects the other bookshelf speaker, which is extremely long by the way and it's a solid cable. It will last a lifetime if you use it normally. I've ordered a USB to optical audio out device that will give me the absolute cleanest signal possible... can't wait!
