Why Such a Confusing Ingredients List?!
Sometimes I think it's easy to be sold on a product that claims to be 'Vegan Friendly'. We assume that this would automatically mean that the product is 'wholesome' and 'full of goodness'.This is not always the case.Strangely, the ingredients are only in Latin, though it seems to be formulated in Poland. Not to worry, as the introduction and directions are written in modern day languages. You won't be left to decipher an ancient language for anything but the ingredients.▪︎ Here's is the ingredients in English, in descending order of weight:- Caprylic Triglyceride - Usually composed of Coconut Oil or Palm Oil that's mixed with glycerine;- Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil - Sweet almond oil;- Vitis Vinifera Seed - Grape seed oil;- Triticum Vulgare - Wheat germ oil;- Calendula Officinalis - Marigold flower oil:- Dicaprylyl Carbonate - A solid plant derived fat sometimes known by its trademark name Cetiol;- Tocopheryl Acetate -  A synthetic form of vitamin E and an ester of acetic acid;- Linum Usitatissimum - Flax seed oilThere's a couple of things I see in the list which make this "oil serum" not as natural as my normal single-ingredient oils that I use on a daily basis.Though I had no idea when I ordered this oil, what ingredients I was in for, as i don't speak fluent latin. I see now that it doesn't quite have the powerful blend of ingredients that I would have liked to see in a serum based product. For that reason 3 stars.

Good for Body, not for Face
I like to use a “base” before I apply my moisturiser as I have very dry, sensitive skin. As my skin is also “mature” now, the blurb that this oil serum could help wrinkles and fine lines was also appealing.I tried following the instructions for facial use for a few days, but applying the oil then rubbing my skin for five minutes, even very gently, made it sore and inflamed – one way to get rid of wrinkles, but certainly not ideal as I was left with a lot of redness, which looked far worse than the laughter lines I was trying to smooth out! Just applying it without the recommended rubbing wasn’t very successful and caused some eye irritation even though I avoided my immediate eye area. After poor results on my face, I changed to using it as a body oil and was far more satisfied with the results. While not the driest of oils I’ve used, it does leave my skin nice and soft. The dropper is a little leaky and despite its length draws very little – better for dispensing suitable facial quantities, but sometimes a little mean for body use.In terms of volume, if you can get away with facial usage, 100 ml is going to last you a long time. Body use is going to deplete it far more quickly, which is why this is now my once a week post-shower skin treat.

Vegan friendly oil serum
This is a brown coloured glass bottle which is different from Kaishi signature look of classic white. I assume this is all vegan friendly as stated and have no reason to doubt claim. It is 100ml bottle which is a great size, I imagine that it will last at least a year if not more. However, it does not have the how long you should keep after opening on the bottle or the box. I probably would replace after a year to be sure. When I take the dropper out of the bottle it’s immediately starts dripping, which loses product. I would prefer that it held the product and just dropped when I pressed the dropper.I accidentally spilled a little oil on the floor and my dog seemed to want to lick it....I hope it’s dog friendly. Obviously I stopped her straight away. The serum itself feels extremely oily when putting on. However, when applied to the face it doesn’t look oily.Initial thoughts are that it’s hydrating and a little goes a long way. But personally I wouldn’t buy again. 3*

A lovely unscented serum which works well on dry skin
I am a recent convert to oil serums and wish I had discovered them sooner. This serum from Kaishi is a great starting point if you are interested in trying something oil-based on your skin, as it is unscented and easy to apply. I have very dry skin and realised recently that oil-based serums and moisturisers would not harm my skin or clog my pores. Instead, they nourish my thirsty dry skin incredibly efficiently. This serum from Kaishi contains caprylic triglyceride which is a combination of coconut oil and glycerin and features in a lot of "all natural" moisturising products. Alongside that the serum contains sweet almond oil, wheat germ oil, calendula oil (which comes from marigolds), grape seed oil and linseed oil. It is surprising that the serum is as unscented as it is given the number of ingredients. It comes in a small bottle with a built-in pipette, so you don't use too much at once. I apply it to my face and neck and also rub any excess into my scalp and hair. The oil gives a slight sheen to the skin, but that quickly soaks in without leaving any residue. My skin looks brighter and feels softer after only a few days use, and the serum certainly helps the elasticity of my skin. I would recommend this serum for anyone with skin dryness who wants to try an alternative to the more common paraffin-based moisturising creams.

Makeup remover and nourisher
This is a product that has various uses and therefore makes it a good option. It removes makeup well and also nourishes the skin, it can be used as a hair treatment ( I have not tried this), it can be used as a massage oil and it is vegan friendly. The oil serum is in a glass bottle with a pipette bulb dropper, this is ideal for using just the amount required, and you don't need much for removing makeup. I really liked how well this worked and how my skin felt after use. I did expect for it to leave an oily residue and was pleasantly surprised when it didn't, my skin felt smooth and soft with no greasiness. I also like that it doesn't really have a heavy scent, just a faint delicate one. This is a really nice and easy to use and is lovely on the skin leaving it feeling nourished and clean. Lovely product and I think a good price so I would happily recommend it..
