Brower 59S Electric Snap Action Thermostat Switch for Incubator

So far so good. This an exact replacement for an antique Brower manufacturing model 1680-2 chick brooder that I rebuilt. It was very easy to install and very easy to adjust. I currently have it set at 95° F and it heats to 98° F then shuts off and comes back on 93° F.

Purchased this for a Coolerbator project for FFA and it works great. Easy to install, and it is very accurate. It has been holding between 99 and 100 degrees consistently for over a week. Hopefully in 2 more weeks we will have a hatch of healthy chicks. I would recommend this for anyone that is building their own incubator.

I have a 1954 Sears Farm Master redwood incubator. I restored it and hatch eggs in it regularly. The thermostat on it was shorted out and so I needed to replace it. I purchased this and, it didn't fit in the preset screws that house the existing thermostat unit.........BUT I was able to use the thermostat part of it to repair my existing system, so it worked out.
