The GE mechanical timer 4 pack is a good buy for excellent quality and reliability. With no batteries required, this timer is easy to set up in less than two minutes. The box comes with simple instructions. There is one three pronged outlet on either side of the timer which offers the opportunity to set up two separate devices on one timer (same time). With a quick push of the side switch, the timer can instantly turn the outlet on to use your device on the spot. I have an older edition of GE’s timer and it still works after 20 years. No doubt these will stand the test of time as well.

These timers work great, and we love that you can switch them to either being on or being used as a timer. Easy to set, high quality.

Works really well. Very easy to program. The only issue is that it makes a soft noise constantly while plugged in. It is like a soft winding noise which i assume is the internal timer. So it isn’t ideal for quiet areas as the sounds stands out.

We used this timer outlet for our Christmas lights. We set it to turn on from 6:30 PM to 12:00 AM and it worked very well. The installation was very easy. This is convenient and energy efficiency.

For years I have used the "old" version of these mechanical timers where you have to insert little ON and OFF tabs on the desired times. These microscopic tabs are easily lost and then the timer is useless. This updated version improves things significantly in two ways: 1. There are now built-in tabs all around the timer that you push in or out for ON and OFF. No tiny parts to lose. 2. There are now two outlets on the timer instead of just one. These timers are very easy to use and the only thing you have to remember is if pushing in a tab means ON or OFF?? And no batteries required.

Easy set up. Pull up all pins, set time of day and depress the pins for the hours you want the lights on. Great for Christmas window candles. Nice slim design and two outlets. Great price and fast shipping.

These GE timers work very well. They allow many on and off cycles which can be very useful. I did not find them excessively noisy either. They also allow both outlets to to be used.

Easy to use. Reliable. East to adjust, almost too easy because my toddler can do it. I use these for my plant lights and it makes my life simpler to not have to turn on and off so many lights.
