Good for gift giving

This was my first embroidery ever made. I loved it so much. I found my new hobby. I finished it the next day of receiving my kit. I looked up some videos on different ways to stitch. Which helped a lot. I will purchase a lot more kits to get better at it. Great stress reliever as well.

This was my very first embroidery and while it was pretty easy and only had 2- 3 stitches the fabric is transparent and very delicate so any floss behind is visible and mistakes arent very forgiving. I felt like trying to hide the floss behind the pattern was the most difficult part and also took a bit to get the pattern to wash off. Overall though I liked the results and there was a lot of extra floss left over even after cutting out my many mistakes! Just really recommend thinking about the transparent background if you're as new to embroidery as I am.

I USED MY OWN FLOSS. I really loved the design on this kit and it’s super simple and perfect for beginners. It comes with plenty of the colors display in the product image and 3 small needles. I had accidentally ordered 2 so I did one in the original colors but I like this rainbow more

So this kit is very cute and I love the design, but my issues were that the instructions on how to do a French knot were not very helpful and because the material is so see through the lines that they have you do for the whispy parts you can see through and it looks a bit messy. The only way to prevent seeing the lines would be to tie them off every line which would be very time consuming.

Sturdy fabric, was able to undo stitching and re stich without tearing material.

I love that everything you need to create this project is included. The organza fabric seems of good quality to stitch on. However, for a beginner, this was more than overwhelming. I ended up looking up the different types of stitches on YouTube as the instructions included were not very easy to follow. Also one of my needles snapped in half while I was stitching away! It could have been quite dangerous!This kit better suits someone who is not so new to cross stitching.
