GREAT LITTLE RADIO, UNBELIEVABLE VALUE!
For well under twenty bucks, you can't expect much, right? Not the case with this little jewel! Somebody really did their homework when they designed this. The buttons are well laid out, the LCD is bright and clear, and the reception is as good as radios costing far more. After only five minutes, I'd auto scanned in all the AM and FM stations and had locked into memory all the ones I wanted to use. And using only a few button pushes allows updating the memory in seconds. Connecting this to an amplified speaker or a pair of headphones gives you amazingly clear stereo FM with loads of separation. Even the AM band was surprisingly sensitive, pulling in all the local stations as well as some from further away. Plus, it recharges very quickly from any USB port. This is a masterpiece of miniaturization along with sturdy construction and terrific function.

Good FM....No AM
As other reviiewers noted, if you want to listen to AM you won't be able to pick up any stations. Should not even be marketed as am/fm. However, if you only listen to FM the reception is very good. I use primarily for long walks and the compact size and light weight is super. I couldn't get the earbuds comfortable and changed them out for a better quality pair that work for me. The directions for memory storage and other features are HORRIBLE. The Chinese translator apparently not good at converting to English. I eventually figured it out by trial and error. All that being said, I do like this radio for performance (other than VERY POOR /lack of AM reception). It suits my needs and great FM reception. Holds battery charge well. Overall, I like the product for my use and needs and would purchase again.

Great Bargain for the Price
I am a senior citizen and have used various Walkman radios for decades on my daily walks. My favorite Sony Walkman has been discontinued, and I decided to try this radio. I was really surprised at the performance of this radio. It is about the same height of a credit card and around ½ inch wide. It fits easily into a t-shirt pocket. The sound is excellent. I have not used the earbuds that came with the radio. Instead, I used my inexpensive on-ear lightweight Panasonic headphones (RP-HT21). So I am not rating the earbuds. I live in a metro area, but one of my presets is an NPR station 30 miles away in another state. The reception for all my pre-set stations is great. Not sure about reception in a rural or remote area. The radio looks expensive and is well made and professional. The instructions are complete but are not well written in English. However, the instructions are OK with a little perseverance. This radio appears to be a bargain for the price. I have had my radio for only two weeks, and I am hoping that it will prove durable in spite of the price. Added nine months later: I have two of these radios & both are durable with no problems or issues.

UNTENABLE
Just like every Chinese electronic device, it's a piece of crap. Charged it, hit POWER and it came on. Tuned to a digital station. It worked. Tried to save a 2nd station. Did not work. Tried many ways to save that station. UNSUCCESSFUL. OK, I will try it again tomorrow. Hit POWER. Still on. I CANNOT TURN THE POWER OFF. IT WILL BE RETURNED ASAP! It is black, with tiny black lettering. RIDICULOUS! NEED A 10x MAGNIFYING GLASS TO READ IT THE DEVICE OR THE "USER MANUAL." CANNOT GET RID OF IT QUICKLY ENOUGH.

VR-robot AM/FM radio is tiny but serves the purpose quite well
No matter the photos on the product page, but when I first held this raid, I was surprised how small it is. It is small than many MP3 players of 20 years ago. Living in a big city, automatic presets filled up pretty quickly leaving out my favorite stations. I had to manually delete a lot of presets one by one and then set them up individually one by one. Took about 15 minutes to setup. I should have known and not used the automatic presets. This device does NOT have blue tooth capability. I connected this to a blue tooth player using a male-male audio cable. The setup works fine, but I have to remember to turn both of them off to prevent battery drainage. Battery lasts quite long, even though I haven't measured. Sound quality is not great - but in my setup a lot depends on the speaker's quality and the cable quality. Still, I found that the radio stations with this device sound inferior to music played via my phone using blue tooth connection. I am not quite sure if the inferior radio sound is attributable to the device. I definitely recommend this radio.

Reception Good/Battery Poor
I've been taking daily walks for over twenty years. I appreciate a small battery powered radio to add a bit of spice to a sometimes dreary routine. My rural lifestyle and poor reception presented a challenge. It was tedious to have to hold the radio and constantly shift it's direction in search of noise. This radio is small, light weight and simple to use. Its reception, while not great nor static free, is better than previous radios. I still need to search for reception while walking, but its a real improvement. A major negative is very poor battery life. Rechargeable battery sounded good, but after fully charging it ,it lasted less than 2 1/2 hrs before it was dead as a rock. Big battery negative aside, I'd buy it again because of its reception.

Great handheld mini radio
I initially received an empty package on my first delivery. After I contacted Amazon, they promptly sent out a replacement, and I finally got the radio. I was concerned about its size, thinking it might be low quality, but once I powered it on, I was pleasantly surprised by the clear and loud sound. It easily picked up both AM and FM stations without any issues. Overall, it turned out to be a great purchase for a compact handheld radio.
