Over the past year or so I’ve gotten into using pomades rather than gels to hold and style my hair as i’ve let it grow out. I’ve bought close to two dozens brands and multiple strengths, types, scents, etc. But this pomade has been hands down the best for hair and mustache curls even when compared to other brands that are 2-3 times as expensive. I use this product not just to slick back my hair straight but also to play around with my mustache often where ill have “french” twists, straight bars to the side, handle bars going up at a 45’ angle, or just brushed to the side Doc Holiday style. All other gels/pomades I’ve used have been clumpy/visibly embarrassing/way too oily to the touch or needed additional reinforcement literally every hour to two to maintain a simple shape. With this pomade, i went to sleep one night after styling my mustache at a 45’ angle earlier that morning and somehow it held through and i woke up still with the 45 intact. I work maintenance in an industrial area so often times its hot, I’m sweating(in the bump cap i have to wear 100% of the time on shift), and I’m moving around constantly walking, climbing, or getting underneath equipment so i need my hair in place and not sweating down my face and irritating my eyes. This brand has given me no issues and in fact holds firmer with less product and for a much longer time than I’ve experienced in the past. I put this on in the morning after the shower, go to a 10hr shift where a typical day is moving 7-10 miles a day on my feet within my building and after all that I get home and my hair barely feels affected. Most days ill sleep with it through the night and have to wash it out the next day in the next shower because it holds so well. I would very highly recommend this brand and specifically the Extra Firm Hold double pack if you want your pomade to last and actually stay in place. I will certainly be a long time repeat buyer.

I've used Suavecito for years, trying other brands occasionally, and love this brand! It doesn't weigh my hair down, doesn't leave gunk all over my head, isn't greasy, doesn't have a powerful aroma, is easy to style and rinses out quickly with water. It isn't pasty, like glue or gritty. It's dense but lightweight. I slick my hair back daily and have finally found a pomade that is worthy and affordable for every day use. This is my new pomade. It holds my hair firmly without feeling like glue and lasts all day long while I perform blue collar work. If I mess my hair up, I just wet my hands, run them over my hair and comb it again. This stuff is awesome and works like a charm!

Not as "extreme" hold as I would like, but holds for most of the day...

I’ve been using different hair wax products for over 15 years, and this is the first one that doesn’t make my hair feel greasy or sticky. It applies smoothly, leaves no residue on my hands, and gives my hair a clean, natural look. On top of that, the price is very reasonable! This product absolutely deserves my 5-star rating

I was in a place and didn't want to spend a lot of money and also wanted something that I could get the next day. The packaging was clean and what you'd expect for a product of its price class it does have a very light smell which I didn't care for. I enjoy the mix of my shampoos with my hair product to create a more unique scent that identifies me. I applied the product as I would normally and it ended being far to much after some trial and error I used something the size of close to a US penny and emulsified it via rubbing the product in my hands and my hair was pliable enough to style. However, with the dry down my hair become much more stiff and rigid which might simply be the nature of the product. I am still new to pomades and my previous pomade was Suavecito which is a traditional barber pomade. Not sure I'll buy it again as I do enjoy something with more fragrance but would recommend it to those who want an extreme hold with little to no fragrance.

It actually has a strong hold. One of the few products that can keep up with my line of work and keep my hair looking as good as it did when I started my day 12 hours prior. Lasts all day you can barely feel it in your hair.. it's practically weightless. it smells nice and it dries fast. Can't complain. Will order again.

I was going to write a really long review but I’ll cut to the chase. This is the best pomade on the market. Can make curly hair bone straight in a minute and lasts all day. So neat and smart and amazing price. I can’t believe I finally found the pomade I’ve always wished was on the market. It’s extremely strong but has the shine and texture of Layrite brown label BUT ITS BETTER. It’s way stronger, you know as soon as you take the first bit out of the tub. I immediately bought another tub and now I have anxiety about if they stop producing it. It’s what I’ve been looking for all these years. All day long power clean hold, super shines if you want it to, water brings it back to life but it also washes out if you need it. Thank you so much for making this guy. And best of luck with continued marketing and reaching customers. It’s an easy Layrite beater.

Great product. Subtle smell and works really well. I have used a lot of men’s product over the years. Recently, I have been using a Dutch brand that was drying out my scalp. This one provides high hold and shine and my hair looks great the following day. No more dry scalp. Highly recommended. Easy to use. Found a favorite.

une très bonne surprise! une cire au rapport qualité/prix imbattable. elle fixe parfaitement les cheveux, et se remodèle facilement dans la journée, sans avoir besoin d'en rajouter. une odeur neutre, ce qui est aussi bien car elle n'interfère pas ou ne couvre pas avec celle de votre parfum. et un point non négligeable : aucun effet jaunissant sur les cheveux blancs! vraiment, je lâche les grandes marques qui, malgré leurs qualités, n'arrivent pas à les regrouper en un seul produit , surtout à ce prix!
