Good light weight trellis
I purchased this metal trellis after our wood trellis fell apart in just a few years. We selected metal because the Texas sun would destroy a PVC trellis. I looked at quite a few metal trellises and found the heavy duty trellises of this size were over 300 dollars. I liked the style and the price of this trellis. It was shipped in two pieces and had to be assembled with machine screws. The anchor feet also had to be attached to the trellis. It was a very easy to assemble, perhaps 30 minutes. An allen wrench was provided. This is not a heavy duty wrought iron piece such as you might find in a iron gate. The frame is a hollow light weight metal tubing and the decorative sun burst and curls are solid metal pieces are heavier and stiffer than a wire coat hanger but not by much. It does appear to be welded together properly. If properly mounted to a wall it should hold its form. It is not at all strong enough to be free standing. The 2 hardware hangers that came with it were very inadequate for mounting such a large trellis to an outdoor wall or growing a vine on it. The weight of a vine combined with rain or wind would tear the little wood screws right out of a wall. Also, we have high winds and harsh conditions where we live. We had to purchase hardware to mount it.It was painted in what looked like an enamel copper colored paint with a light spray of black latex paint on top to mimic rust. The black paint came off on my rag when it was wiped down. I lightly sanded it and painted it with 2 coats of Rustoleum enamel paint for a more durable finish and better color choice for our house. I spent about 20 dollars in hardware and paint for the trellis. For the price, I am pleased with the purchase. I think we will get between 5 - 10 years out of it before it rusts and falls to pieces. That's good for an inexpensive light weight metal trellis covered in a heavy vine and subjected to harsh North Texas conditions. I would recommend this trellis.

Very hard to assemble
There are 7 very tight male and female parts that have to be perfectly aligned in order to assemble it. The couplings are very tight so they have to be absolutely perfectly aligned and there are 7 of them that span the 40 inch width. I tried several different ways to do this including having it against a wall and lying down on the floor. Part of the problem, I think, is that the parts are not exactly aligned to begin with. The other part is that the fit between the male and female parts is very tight. Further, being wrought iron it is stiff. I will have to hire someone to put this together.

disappointing
Had eagerly awaited the arrival of my big beautiful trellis and what a surprise I got when it arrived. Flimsy construction. Welds were broken and unit was bent but box looked normal. Handyman man had to assemble using zip ties. 4 stakes were missing. Looked like it was made in a third world country. Way too large to transport to mail center in my sedan. Total rip off.

Beautiful, elegant trellises
I ended up ordering 4 of these trellises for my parents for the patio that my father has made (and isn't completely done yet but is functional.) For months my mothers shopped around at stores and couldn't find ones she liked for the price, my parents looked on Amazon and decided to spend a bit more (the patio did cost quite a bit of money so it is silly not to.) These trellises are beautiful (I've seen them in person), they really add to the elegance of the space and tie in well with the furniture. They make you feel like you are in a secluded area and my parents can't wait until the cucumbers start growing up them.On another note, the company is amazing. The first order consisted of three and one came missing a stake. My mother called them, they were so nice and apologetic about it and sent it out that day. My parents received it the next day (they were only a state away from the sender.) They also received a catalog (some things I don't think are on Amazon.)

Beautiful product.
Bought 4 of these for blue wisteria to climb. They look amazing in the garden. The only complaint is the welds are popping. I just use a cable tie to reinforce so not a huge deal breaker.

Artistic design, easy assembly....can’t go wrong!
Like the color and style which is somewhat different from another Deerpark trellis I bought previously. I’ve sprayed both with clear transparent clear coat to prevent further weather damage after they were assembled. The color still comes through and is beautiful. Would definitely buy this and other products from this company again

Missing pieces
Good product - but my shipment included only 3 of the 4 ground stakes needed - works ok for now i guess. Would be a pain to send back and my plants are growing and need a trellis so it's not worth sending back at this point. If seller can send the missing stake I will update my review

Lovely but sloppy workmanship.
Trellis for a new vine. Two places were not soldered properly and we had to tie those spots . Otherwise I loved the style and shape .
