It’s smaller then my last digital ballast. Has a fan that blows continuously but I don’t see that as an issue as it’s very quiet. Runs much cooler then last ballast so hopefully it will last for a bit. The key issue is durability which I cannot write about now because it’s only been running for a few weeks.

This is a real review from an experienced user of this product category. The Tophort 600 watt ballast is the worst product that I have ever purchased on Amazon. Four months to failure is unacceptable. Do not make the same mistake I made. Save yourself the agony of defeat.

Extremely pleased with this purchase. It’s been on a 12/12 cycle since the day it arrived.

So far so good all works great have had it for 2 months

Ballast worked fine while it was working. Average cost of $10 per month. Not the worst, but not the best.

Great ballast so far. Time will tell if it holds up.
