This is a great little pump. It works as described. I would buy it again.

I’ve used this pumps for years and they have always been quiet and reliable. The one I purchased before this one was March of 2023. These,pumps have a 5 year warranty. I searched dannermand there site actually has a phone number that people answer. Their customer service rep told me to send him a screen shot of the Amazon order. He also wanted a few photos of the pump and the tag that was on the pump body. Within hours of the info being sent they emailed me for my address and will send me another pump. The service is excellent. I will use the pump as a spare to swap out. Thanks Danner.

Replaced like brand unit that lasted for years, running continuously for years, right through winter with ice on the fish pond. Water enters the pond through a waterfall and I replaced the pump with a higher GPM at the same price as a lower one which is something I did not check on the one I was replacing. Thought I was getting a good deal on same price for a higher GPM. Now the water skips across the waterfall rock ledges too fast until the filter clogs a little, which fortunately with the higher volume does not take long and the waterfall calms down. So important to match the GPM to your needs. I gave grandma a race car.

Delivered damaged. Waited 2 weeks to receive. Returning as soon as Delivered and told another 3 weeks for replacement. Fish will not survive that long. Hundreds down drain. Requesting expedited replacement. Will update this rating depending on response.

I just winterize our koi pond.. I removed the new pump we purchased on July 27 2023. I thought I would check out to see how much wear the impeller has on it and the housing.. after removing the screws this is what I found.. the impeller shaft is broken.. not sure what to do now. We have had our Koi pond for 30+ years.. I've never seen this happen before.. UPDATE; I couldn't find out who it was purchased from.. so I was sent to Danner... They were slow but accurate.. I received the new impeller assembly today 11/29/23. I removed the broken shaft one and installed the new one.. We are very happy with Danner

The pump works well so far, however it is very loud. I use it for my cold plunge in my basement, and if I'm on my main level of my house and there isn't a lot of noise I can hear the pump running.

I haven't measured it or anything, but to me it seems like works as expected! Got for outdoor tub and even when the prefilter (screened) seems to be getting little clogged it still pumps thru. Even when prefilter was pretty clogged it still worked, but could tell reduced flow so new was time to clean the prefilter. It was easy to install with common PVC fittings from store. Comes with a damping pad. Recommend if using it with anything attached to the house to use the pad. Mine is installed for a tub on the deck. Could hear it while in the kitchen, so using the pad really reduced the vibration noise. Part of it might have been since tub was new addition to outdoor deck, just wasn't used to it. Cause I don't really notice it anymore. But use the pad.

This is my 3rd pump after having (2) active aqua pumps break (connection points). I use this for my cold plunge and its amazing, have had it for almost a year now with no issues. Very happy with it. I recommend using a thread sealant with it.

I found out out now that you should just leave the pump running until you are going to get into the plunge. It can't be turned off and on repeatedly during the day which I learned. I just changed the impeller and it's been great since. Lesson learned keep it running unless you're going in. I use this water pump in my stock tank for my cold plunge in the winter. It works great and have been using it for just over 2 months already. Things have changed my pump has stopped working and is just humming with no water movement. Amazon just sent me to the seller but I doubt anything will get settled. Disappointed

Bought this to replace one I bought several years ago. This one only had a 10 foot cord and its predecessor had a 18 foot cord. Pump works fine.
