I build custom Bluetooth speaker boxes using these receivers. I chose this product specifically because it has auxiliary input capability, USB port for MP3 playing from a thumb drive, a really good remote, and the color bar graphs on either side (which make the product more interesting to look at).For my purpose, I need to use a separate amplifier module to produce the volume level my product really needs. The Bluetooth receiver just doesn’t have enough amplifier power to directly drive the speakers. That’s why I gave 4 stars and not 5.I buy the amplifier modules here on Amazon. I use the one that is stereo with a single regular volume control that is able to be panel mounted. It is rated at 3 watts. The speakers I use are also 3 watts. That power level gives a comfortable volume level for personal listening but not enough to fill a room with sound. That’s not what I build my products for anyway.The sound quality of the whole setup (BT receiver, stereo amp, and the chosen speakers) is pretty decent, although with the BT source (cell phone etc.) volume at maximum, and the stereo amp volume approaching maximum, there is distortion on certain songs. I would love to find a low wattage amp that has signal processing to enhance the sound quality to that of the portable BT speakers I can buy.I also love the voltage this product operates on. It is very compatible with my available power source voltage.This BT receiver has many applications and has a very reasonable price. I will buy dozens more of this brand in the future.

The media could not be loaded. Doesnt work like it should. the built in Amp is merely a gag to sell more of these. all competitor products work 10x better and are 50x louder for having the same AMP. Not even loud enough for testing purposes. If you put the speaker directly on your ear it'd be about as loud as an airpod on medium 10ft away. mind you I'm testing it on 2inch speakers....... abhorrent
