Tend Skin Care Solution, 4 Fl. Oz for Post Shaving & Waxing

This product is primarily alcohol. If I wanted to put rubbing alcohol on my shaved bikini zones and underarms then I would do that and not waste my time with a highly rated product that is sold as an "after shaving, delicate areas skin care solution". If you can stand the burning sensation, then maybe this is the product for you. I went with an aloe-based product instead and got better results.

The reviews for this are pretty amazing, so I was expecting it to blow my socks off. It definitely worked for me, but it didn’t blow me away. I have a pesky ingrown hair that has scarred over around my bikini line. It is truly an eyesore. I was hoping this would make it disappear. And it did help! It really lightened it. But it’s not completely gone. Furthermore, I can say that while I use this I have less ingrowns than usual. But it’s not magic, since I still have ingrowns sometimes. Word of advice, this solution is very strong, and a little goes a long way. I would recommend diluting it with water and pouring that into a spray bottle. It is easier to use that way, and you do not waste as much product.

I noticed a big difference after the first use. I hate the in grown hairs and the razor burn on my face. The coarse hairs are mostly on either side of my chin and that is where the in grown hairs are. I tried using NAIR facial hair remover instead of shaving the coarse hairs on my face but that seemed to make the in grown hairs worse. As a woman I hate having to deal with facial hair but this seems like it’s going to work well to keep my face smooth.

This product is pricey for the size of the bottle but I had to give it 5 stars across the board. I have done everything- change razors, use a antibacterial body wash, change to a natural deodorant, change in diet and I was still dealing with under arms that were painful, red, had cystic pimples and honestly made me not wear anything that would show anything beyond my biceps. All the changes I had made had made a difference but they were still struggling to fully heal. I have used this every day after showering and shaving under my arms for the past two weeks and they are 100% clear. This works amazing and I saw a noticeable difference in 2 days. Anyone who has the same issue and are expecting one product to be their miracle cure, it takes time and several changes but tend skin took me to the last step. Will continue to buy as it clears up past issues and prevents new ones. Love the product!

This stuff is AMAZING. You would never believe it but it works wonders. One of the worst parts of summer for me is razor burn and chafing/irritation, particularly at the beach when my hair follicles on my legs dry from the saltwater. This stuff prevents ALL of that. No bumps, no pain, nothing. Best part is, it doesn't matter when you put it on. Before you shave, after you shave, even when you're not shaving, going to the beach, getting back from the beach, etc. Always works.

I have been having a terrible problem with ingrown hairs on my bikini area. I have tried several products, including a topical prescription from my dermatologist. The topical from the dermatologist helped a little, but not to my satisfaction. I found Tend Skin while scrolling through Amazon. I did not have high hopes, but figured it could not hurt to try. Within one week, I have no ingrown hairs whatsoever. I am honestly amazed by this product.

I myself much prefer waxing to shaving as I have to do it less often and I enjoy the smoothness much more than shaving. That being said I would always get these painful ingrown hairs and red bumps, not an extreme amount just enough to be annoying. I sought out products that would help prevent this and this one seemed to be popular so I figured I would give it a try. For me it works exactly as described. I no longer get those painful ingrown hairs or the red bumps. Not to say that they are completely eliminated every time I wax, but if any do show up they do not hurt and I just apply the Tend Skin an additional time for a couple days and its a non issue. If you have any problems with ingrown hairs or red razor bumps then this is an absolute must try. I know everyone is different, but for the this is a game changer and makes the weeks after waxing so much better that I dont even worry about it anymore.

Bought this to get rid of red bumps and ingrowns on my leg that I've had for many many years. Exfoliated (with the plastic exfoliator) day and morning religiously for 7 days (and then on and off for the next 7) but it didn't yield miraculous results. I think this probably works best as a product to prevent not treat. After a few months of use, I took time off from shaving my legs so I wouldn't get in growns. I have noticed that the old bumpy ingrown areas on the back of my calf and sides of my legs are slightly less red, but they are still bumpy. I would say it does a slight improvement, but since my ingrowns have been here for years I'm not surprised it didn't work.
