Comparison between liquid oil and balm cream. Personally I think this oil product is much better for the piercing than the balm cream. I have genital piercings so I have to be very particular as I do physical work for a occupation.The liquid spreads easily into and can be worked into the pierced hole with ease. The balm cream works but is more difficult to work into the pierced hole as the body has to heat the product to melt it. Ive found the balm cream has a tendency to stick to the jewelry. The oil seems to penetrate the skin better and quicker and stays moist for longer. kinda funny as both products are suppose to be oil based. For long term wearing of jewelry Ive found the oil product doesnt have residual build up on the jewelry unlike the balm cream. Dont get me wrong. The balm cream is a great product but I find for my purpose the oil works perfectly and the benefits outweigh the balm cream. A little goes a long way with both products. As far as the item description goes from the seller. It is pretty much spot on and if you are pierced and you are stretching ur pierced skin then I definitely recommend this product. This product is also perfect for preparing/conditioning the skin before getting new piercings done. To my knowledge side affects are nil as its a natural product and if you have genital piercings and your planning do get intimate with ur partner then it can be good for both of you as it adds a bit of lubrication and doesnt hurt either partner. If anything it will soften your partners skin over time and make it silky soft. This is an added bonus LOL. Happy piercing and safe stretching :-P My girlfriend loves the fact I use this product. I've been using this for YEARS and my favorite part is that it lasts a long time despite how small the bottle appears. I don't get any ear gunk and it's easy to change my jewelry. The scent is very light and non-irritating. I love this stuff! 🖤

Purchased this for my teenage daughter and she loves it. She claims it's relieved her itching and has made stretching so much easier. Great combination of oils and smells good. Shipping seems expensive though considering the weight of the bottle. Maybe next time I'll purchase these oils on my own to get more for the money.

I did my own industrial piercing and it started developing scar tissue and bubbles and icky green goop. I knew it was starting to become infected no matter how much I tried sterilizating it before getting to this point, I tried baking soda, witch hazel and then lastly menthol alcohol-still nothing worked. Until I started browsing sea salts and creams and I ran across gauge gear! Omg these guys saved me from having to remove my industrial. I've had to remove it twice over the past 3 Years because of this obnoxious reason of bubbles and icky goop! The inflammation is gone and so is the bubbles which i wanted more than anything to dissapear and it has completely! I can show off my piercing without worrying if people will see those hideous bumps. I also use this oil on my guaged ears which helps them stay clean and smell good 😊. Guage gear is my life saver!

Used this for my first time stretching. Even though I simply went from a 16 to a 14, The Blend worked wonders! First thing to note, it smells amazing, plain and simple. Another good quality is that it easily coated my tapers and plugs without feeling filmy or gooey. Second, it made the process quite painless!! When I put my steel tapers through after coating both them and my lobes, there was minimal ache! I will continue using this through my aftercare and for my future stretching in the months to come! Great product that I most certainly will recommend!

This oil is great! Gets rid of the ear smell, cleans jewelerly, and can help with your daily massage routine. It helps with healing and gets your stretched ears to a great state. The smell is nice too. And last a long time. I highly recommend people with stretched ears buy this.

This is the best stuff I've used on my ears. Keeps them moisturized and makes it way easier to size up. If I'm just maintaining a size and my ears happen to get irritated the Gage Gear oil helps them heal up up quickly and painlessly.
