Plusvive Vitex Agnus with Wild Yam Extract, 180 Capsules, (250 mg)

I got these to try for my perimenopausal symptoms the worst of which for me is mood/anxiety.What I like about these is they are both vitex agnus and wild yam extract in one capsule. Usually I like to buy supplements separately so I can control how much I'm having of one thing. But I think what they've done here is give a balanced supplement.Vitex Agnus is said to stimulate progesterone production, while wild yam acts like estrogen. I had given progesterone a bad rep after taking a progesterone only pill but found that as part of my prescribed HRT it has in fact helped with symptoms and is needed to counterbalance the estrogen. It makes me happier that this supplement has both progesterone and estrogen elements to it.This is just an opinion and you should do your own research before deciding if this supplement is appropriate for you and for peri-menopause. Estrogen promoting supplements should be used with care.But if they are for you then the capsules are vegan, gluten free and sugar free which is bonus. And the price is very good too! This gives enough for many months. What's not to like?

These are easy to swallow with a little water I usually need water when I'm taking larger tablets or capsules and these are quite large.There was no unpleasant aftertaste and I noticed no unwelcome side effects.I have used a similar supplement before. I sometimes get hormone related breast pain and headaches I find that vitex agnus is very good at eliminating this discomfort. It has other uses in relation to menstrual and menopausal symptoms.Wild Yam is also recommended by some as a similar 'women's health' supplement.I recommend that you always do some research before using supplements like this. It's not quite the same as taking a vitamin supplement.This supplement really helps me with my hormone related issues and there is quite a lot of evidence to support many of the claims about it.I note that wild yam has apparently not been sufficiently researched to prove its efficacy. It is apparently not recommended for women with estrogen triggered health troubles (e.g endometriosis) or those with blood clotting problems. If you are taking HRT you should check with your doctor before using.

Easier than liquid version. Used for pms symptoms

For those with PMS, This may affect your libido, But you must way out the pros and cons of what you can live with. Just know its not permanent, And is a crutch for as long as you need it. The mood swings, Headaches and acne will start to settle with daily use.For those with high libido, It is tough trying to live day by day without distracting thoughts and an overactive state of hormones. This will give you relief from that, And you will finally be able to focus on heart centred thoughts and feelings. You will need to keep taking it daily, But be patient and give it time while it works fully into the body.

I have been using Vitex for more than ten years, mostly to keep my hormones healthy. I have tried maybe 10 or more different brands, and all of them have been useful. When I don't take it periods are painful and last longer. Well, because it had very good reviews decided to try it. Long story short most painful periods ever.There is good reason for it to be useless: it has 50 grams of Vitex when at least 500mg are needed, from 500mg to 1 gr. This has ten times less so it is totally useless, this month I even didn't have the period but had terrible colics and sore breasts. Look for a supplement that has at least 400mg of vitex, this, for the content of vitex is quite expensive actually

Ingredients list is very clean.It contains 180 capsules = 6 months supplyAgnus castus helps me with managing my PMSAll the anger goes away - honestly.Side effect to these is that unfortunately your libido goes away too if high doses taken.I used to take 1000 mgBut since moving to these 250mg each capsule it's slowly coming back.Capsules are easy to swallow and do not have any aftertaste. Recommended dosage 1 capsule per day.Also as far as I know you should not take angus castus continuously for longer than 3 months - read up on it, ask your doctor.Highly recommended to any woman struggling during PMS. Just word of advise, test your dosage so it doesn't affect other parts of your life.

This vitex agnus is in capsule form. The previous brands I’ve tried have all been tablet. The capsule isn’t big, it’s the size of a painkiller capsule. It’s easy to swallow and didn’t get stuck in my throat.I’ve been taking vitex agnus for several years to help alleviate PMS symptoms such as; breakouts, headaches and mood swings. Using vitex cactus has done wonders for my breakouts but sadly, after using the same brand for more than 5 yrs, it’s starting to become less effective.This vitex agnus has wild yam in it which is a combination I haven’t tried before.There are 180 capsules in the bottle and if you take one daily as advised, then the bottle should last 6 months.Sometimes the effectiveness of using vitex agnus can be seen after using it for several months. It’s a waiting game now to see if it helps alleviate my symptoms.

Estas pastillas me han cambiado la vida . Mis reglas son súper dolorosas , cada mes era una tortura. He probado miles de productos y nada me funcionaba. Me recomendaron estas pastillas y desde que las probé he sentido muchísimo alivio , ahora puedo hacer vida normal, me ha reducido muchísimo el dolor . Sin duda las recomiendo 100%.

Ich nehme die Kapseln jetzt die 3. Woche, bin mehr als zufrieden. Hatte nach Absetzen der Pille eine hormonelle Akne bekommen, nach 2 Wochen wurde meine Haut schon merklich besser. Ganz tolles Produkt. Empfehle ich gerne weiter!!!

No creo en hierbas ni suplementos en general, es un mercado muy sospechoso ya que no hay ningún control sobre ello. La gente se queja de cosméticos con ingredientes supuestamente "tóxicos" pero no tiene ningún reparo en tomar suplementos que,a diferencia de los cosmeticos, no están regulados.Dicho esto...pues cuando estás despertada porque tienes un dolor insoportable de pechos durante varios días y no te ayuda lo que te manda el médico pues... buscas otras alternativas. El aceite de onagra no me hizo nada y el Vitex agnus estaba segundo en mi lista ya que tiene algún respaldo scientifico de cierta fiabilidad.Y bueno...se me han quitado los dolores por Dios... No me lo creía así que dejé de tomar las pastillas durante un ciclo y los dolores volvieron. Volví a tomarlos y desaparecieron. Y repetí el experimento, ocurrió lo mismo. Soy escéptica pero, hombre, creo que tengo evidencia de sobra. Este es mi segundo bote.Ahora bien. Es cierto que mis ciclos se han vuelto más cortos y sé por mis amigas que a ellas les ha influido el ciclo de manera negativa. Yo puedo vivir con este efecto secundario. No han vuelto los dolores - eso sí - este suplemento no cura. Lo dejas de tomar y voilà...Sí, cierto es que en algunos países como Alemania los médicos lo mandan pero en ciertos casos solo, así que mejor consultarlo con el ginecólogo.Espero que os haya sido útil mi opi :-)
