Are these small or big? Do they melt into the frosting gently or are they big and give a crunch?

They are pretty small. Maybe a quarter or third bigger than regular sugar crystals. There is some crunch, but it is not heavy.

Is there red dye # 40 in this? Also named FD&C red 40?

The “sand sugar” was great

The sugar did exactly what I needed. The color was great for a Cinderella themed dinner. It was easy to use and decorate the cooked prior to baking. It held up in the baking, the color stayed true to form and it stuck to the cookie. It enhanced the taste as well by making the sugar cookies sweeter but not overpowering. The price point was reasonable.

Nice Sparkle

This is very nice but then again it's Wilton. Has a nice little sparkle to it. I mixed with some red for on top of Christmas cookies and it looked really nice. I have used by itself on top of chocolate cookies as well. I will continue to buy.

Great poor baby boy showers

These were a cute idea for a baby boy shower on the cookies and cake cakes we served. Just know that there was no way we could have finished the whole thing. It’s a lot of sprinkles.
