VERSANORA Teamson Home Creativo Wooden Writing Desk with Storage, White/Natural

My 11 yr old daughter and I assembled this desk for her room together. We laid out all of the parts, which were clearly labeled with letters, and all of the hardware pieces, which were clearly labeled with numbers. The majority of the assembly involves cam posts, cam locks, wooden dowels and wood screws. We were able to do all of this with a hand-held Philips screwdriver and the supplied Allen wrench. It took us about 45 minutes to unpack and assemble everything. The desk has good storage without taking up too much space in her room. It has a nice mid-century modern design with clean lines. It's definitely a great deal for the price. The only thing you need to be aware of is the lid to the storage area (the first part you assemble) can fall open as you work on the rest of the pieces, so you may want to have painters tape handy to secure it shut while assembling the remainder of the desk.

Desk arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. Two pieces had minor damage on them and one piece cracked when I turned a cam and the cam broke. Customer service was excellent and sent me new pieces and cams quickly.

Really nice desk. Keep in mind the drawers are pretty small width wise. I couldn’t fit a sketchbook or other regular sized notebook in them. Very study. Washable marker and paint doesn’t come off that well. Overall really good buy. I’m daughter loves it and fits her room perfectly.

I moved to a much smaller apartment, and quickly realized that I needed to consolidate my desk and makeup vanity into one table. So, I was on the hunt for a desk that was aesthetically pleasing, had storage, had a small hutch, was no longer than my old desk, didn’t have one of those awkward pieces/shelves underneath the main part of the desk, and was under $200. That’s a lot of criteria to fit, but this desk is perfect. It’s long enough to hold all that I need and give me ample work space, but small enough to fit in a little corner space next to my boyfriends desk (which are both in our shared bedroom). I can’t speak for longevity, but it seems pretty sturdy so I’m not too concerned. I’m a huge organization nut, and a full time grad student, and this desk is amazing for what I need. My only negative aspects of this desk are that a couple pieces of it seemed a little damaged during the shipping process, and it also was a huge pain to put together, even with two people.

My 11 year old was sweeping her room and slightly moved the desk to clean behind it and legs fell off completely. It’s not sturdy and it seemed like compressed cardboard. Unfortunately, this item lasted 4 months and I didn’t get insurance therefore waste of money. Note* I’ve had IKEA desk in the past, and has lasted longer than this desk that I thought I was splurging on. Disappointed purchase.
