Woodstock D4220 Sawhorse Brackets

I wanted a pair of saw horses but didn't want to make something makeshift that would wobble or fall apart. These brackets are so easy to use and are very sturdy. They also look neat, just as if I know what I am doing. 2 x 4's for the legs and I used a 4 x 6 for the top, perfect. They stack nice and can be broken down without tools. Even my mother-in-law said that they looked nice!

These are great brackets they hold the wood very well especially when you add supports and braces to the saw horse. The only complaint I have would be that it says it holds a 2x6 well I had to shave the 2x6 with my table saw a little bit to make it sit in the groove properly but it was easy they work great very happy with this purchase I am buying another one so I have two horses

Really easy to assemble

These exact brackets are offered by at least a couple sellers here. I chose this seller to take advantage of Amazon Prime next-day delivery. The brackets work fine. The packaging was fine. The brackets do not come with instructions, but as other reviewers have commented, if you need instructions to assemble a sawhorse with these brackets you probably shouldn't be building sawhorses or undertaking any projects where you might need sawhorses. Other reviews have mentioned problems with getting 2x4s to fit in the brackets. I used pressure-treated 2x4s, as I had several on hand, and they are a little bit bigger than regular 2x4 boards. By putting the bracket on the floor and fitting the 2x4 into the bracket and then tapping the end of the leg with a hammer you can get the board correctly inserted. It will be snug. For the top board, I used a rasp to take down one corner a little bit and was then able to get the board to sit nicely in the slot on the top of the bracket. See photo above. Just to keep things simple I cut all the boards to 30". You can make the sawhorses any height or width you desire.I countersunk the bolts to keep the top of the sawhorse flat and I cut the legs at 17.5 degrees so they sit flat on the floor. See photos.

No instructions. I’m sure I could figure this out but why should I? Inside the package is a few pices of black plastic and some bolts. I have no idea what cuts to make.Does not fit a 2 x 6. The fit is about a 1/16 “ to small for the board. If there were instructions it may tell me to rip the wood down a fraction or maybe I’m to heat the plastic so it softens then stomp the 2 x 6 on!

Side top of bracket came cracked. Treated 2x4 don’t fit. No response about crack from company.

Top groove too narrow for standard Home Depot 2 x 6. Rides up on one side unless board is ripped narrower.

Real happy with these saw horse brackets. Understand, you need to supply the lumber, (2X4 and 2X6) to make this into a full saw horse. You also need two bracket sets for two horses.Once put together, these hold the legs very tight and are steady. I really like having a 2X6 as the top. Gives me plenty of room to work as a small workbench. Come apart easy and store as a flat package when dissembled.
