Prepare for a big mess
The tub was cracked on the red one so the stuff had mostly solidified and there wasn’t much left to use. It worked well and it removed the thousand layers of gloss in my bathroom but it took about 48 hours to fully harden and it made so, so, so much mess coming off. Didn’t come off in a nice single strip as I thought but just dust and powder and mess everywhere, even with the clingfilm holding it together. Yes it worked but no I wouldn’t use it again, I’ll just use a he’s thin, this is too faffy and too messy. Haven’t dared to try the other one yet.

Good
Product was good, effective and worked well when the instructions were followed. Stripped off all the paint from the exterior of a Georgian houseThe only negative was the package cost which seems to be expensive compared to the amount of product included. However, the large tub represents good value when compared to alternatives but the samples are half the cost of the big one

Magic in a tub!!!!
I bought the tester pack!!!! I was a little sceptical but this stuff is amazing…. Having stripped back three cottage doors the main front door can’t be taken off its hinges so have to strip in situ. Started with heat gun then another paint remover and it was taking so long…. Put this on as a test over night!!!!!! Brilliant…. The large tub is now in my basket

Easy use paint remover
Loved the Kling strip, going back for a big tub. Used it to strip a bannister that had all sorts on; gloss, emulsion, even floor paint. Plastered it on, left it a few hours and used a normal scraper and it came straight off hardly any elbow grease even on finicky bits. Bit pricey but worth it. I didn’t get on well with the liquid solvent stuff, maybe it’s just preference

The testers were definitely worth - well testing !!
I found the solvistrip worked better for me on a wooden sculpture than the kling strip - but I think either would have been ok.You recommended me the solvistrip to use on a wooden garden chainsaw sculpture to strip the varnish. I was worried it wouldn’t work as it’s not a flat surface but many grooves. I was wrong to worry. The stripper dissolved the vast majority of the varnish - some of which simply curled up and dropped off with no additional scrubbing required and a pressure washer helped with what was left.Easier than I had anticipated - thank you
