I purchased red heart baby soft step yarn color white April 21, 2024. While on the eighth row of the current blanket I am crocheting the yarn was pieced together by the manufacturer to most like make the weight of the ball of yarn . The yarn was shredded and only hanging together by a thread . This is unexpected because the project I started will require me to cut the defective piece out and join new yarn or waste the entire project and start again from the beginning with a new ball of yarn so that I don’t have to worry about joining yarn coming apart in the wash once the project is completed. The price of yarn is expensive and defects are unexceptionable. I also took photos to that I can send on request . A timely response to this matter would be appreciated. Thank you Victoria
