Works well. I’m not drinking A ton but just wanted to have a glass of wine and make sure my milk was still good!

Seems to work great! One time I forgot how much I drank and couldn’t follow the “Breast feeding alcohol chart” online, so these came in handy to tell me my milk wasn’t ok. I will say sometimes after one beer and two hours later the test says there’s no alcohol in my milk, but I also know that the human liver goes through that one beer in one hour. So idk if the chart say 2 hours just to be safe or if the alcohol just isn’t being detected for some reason. Also for the people doing a ‘test to see if it works’ that drink takes 30 minutes to go into your system, you can not drink and test right away.

I used these regularly when I was nursing my son. They are fast and effective. The only downside is that the white tip is not a pure white tip so I would toss milk if I thought there was even the slightest darkening of the tip. That was my judgment call to be safe. Otherwise a great product! I wish it could safely detect caffeine!

Things have been stressful since bringing baby home so I take to wine to ease it off but I don’t want any of it being transported to my baby via milk. This has help eased my mind and detect any traces of alcohol so I know baby is safe

Great product!! It does really work, however please wait 5 mins not the 2 mins it says. I’ve wasted good milk when i combined two pumps and then saw it after 5 mins and said it had alcohol in it.

You really need to follow the directions with these. Meaning wait the 2 min and read it at 2 min. If you wait too long the alcohol reading will read the max every time. Ive only used these twice and they work great. Once I had a long night of drinking and went to bed, tested my milk for a 3am feed and low and behold I was still intoxicated even tho I felt fine. So thankfully I had my husband feed the baby a freezer milk, otherwise my baby would've had himself a night cap! The other time I tested after a couple glasses of wine and it read a .08, enough for me to bust out another freezer milk.

I decided to test this out when i was bagging some milk after going out, i pumped before drinking and after and it showed up for the milk i pumped after drinking!
