Can this be mounted on a concrete wall?

Yes, but you'll need to use concrete lag shield anchors, concrete wedge anchors, or similar.

What do you attach this to?

It can be attached to a stud or a concrete wall. Thank You

What is the diameter of the board please?

The one I received ordering direct from XMark site is 23.5" diameter and warped like a potato chip.

Is the whole unit made of 11ga steel or only the l brackets that mount to the wall?

No it’s all the same steel. Great product and rock solid!
