Enjoy the great outdoors in Irish Setters' Havoc-801 hunting boot. This rugged offering in leather boasts a PU footbed for comfort and FlexiLock construction in the forefront for an athletic fit and an easier step. Airflow channels help manage moisture while a rubber sole ensures good grip on any terrain. Hunting isn't their hobby. It's their calling. It's all they were made to do. In sixty years, they've never lost focus. They've never followed anything but their instincts. They've never let up. They still live for the chase, pursuing innovation from dusk to dawn. They're in the fields, the blinds and the stands, long after the fair-weather crowd heads inside. They do all of this to build incredible hunting boots, because at Irish Setter, the hunt never ends.

Where’s the Box?
These boots I personally believe to not be “real” RedWing Boots! First of all I received them in some replacement box. It claimed the box had been damaged in shipping?! I’ve included a photo. I never approved this, as they were full price of around $205. I already owned an exact pair that I loved and simply wanted to replace. I compared the 2. They appeared to be the same at first. Logo looked correct. Yet something still seemed off. Like where was my Official REDWING WARRANTY??? There wasn’t one. I called our local Redwing retail store and luckily they had since gotten my size back in. So I took the boots with me to compare the 2. Or 3 should I say? My original. The pair from This online retailer thru Amazon and the pair at the Redwing store. Mind you ALL the EXACT same size make style! Both My original pair and the ones at the official store were both of a - -much heavier weight. -much more quality material (actually leather)everywhere! -a warranty no less -the only difference I can find tag wis is the tag on the inside. They both read made in Vietnam. The online has the numbers 12/19 VN and the store one reads 12/20 VN . So other than weight, some questionable leather a warranty and a no guarantee of the box that kinda helps a little with authenticity? If the correct size isn’t available, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Probably would not have noticed anything different had I not already had a pair.

Tremendous Hunting Boot
If you want a quality hunting/outdoor boot, look no further than the Irish Setter Havoc. As an avid pheasant hunter, I have been wearing Irish Setter leather boots since 2012. I started with Wingshooters (also fantastic), and when those finally wore out, I opted for the Havoc. As mentioned before, this boot is actually very comfortable and ready to go right out of the box. My first weekend hunting, I wore them for 10 hours of walking and had absolutely no foot issues or blisters. In addition, I cannot fathom some of the reviews that have stated that these boots are not waterproof. THEY ARE WATERPROOF. Both of the initial weekend mornings I wore the Havocs, I walked for hours through soaking wet ditches, grass, and bird cover. My feet stayed totally dry, as they did with the Wingshooters I wore previously. Now, while these boots are not insulated, if you have sweaty feet, your feet are definitely going to sweat in temp's above 50 degrees. Perhaps that's why others have thought that these boots leaked. Well, they are definitely waterproof. Also, even without insulation, these boots are very warm. Throw on a pair of wool socks, and the Havocs can be worn in snow and in temp's easily down to 30 degrees or lower. Every positive I found in the Irish Setter Wingshooters, I have also found in these boots. I would say the Havocs are a bit more comfortable. I can see no reason to ever change my boot brand, unless Irish Setter someday compromises the excellent quality footwear they now so proudly manufacture. Keep up the great products, Redwing & Irish Setter!!!

Great Boot!
Fantastic boot, my second pair, comfy as tennis shoes but a real boot. Soft and comfy on the inside and one tough boot on the outside! Please don't stop making these.

Loved the look of these and the waterproofing
Loved the look of these and the waterproofing .. but I am a 10 wide foot and although it was listed as such I had to tug a bit to get them on so I believe they run a bit "thin" on their wides.

Very good boots for hunting
These are very good boots for hunting. They are comfortable. No break-in. Good out of the box. They fit me true to my shoe size. Insulated. And they are truly waterproof. I have narrow bony feet so I bought Timberland PRO Men's Anti Fatigue insoles and all is very comfortable.

Great boot!
Got them in time for my hunting trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. They were broke in from the start and after two weeks of hunting in the rain proved to be compleatly waterproof as discribed.Grouse hunters walk many miles each day and I was amazed to hunt that hard for that long in a new boot without any discomfort, an amazing buy.they shipped on time, were sized correct and excedid my expectations. These are the boots you buy twice just incase they stop makeing them.

I'd buy them again. And again. And again.
I am a fan of Danners. I use them in both my jobs as an law enforcement officer and a Marine reservist. However was looking for a good looking boot for everyday wear.Found these Irish Settler, I risked it....good looking and COMFORTABLE! True to their size. A Danner 12 is an Irish Settler 12.Best money I ever spent.
