Excellent LED under cabinet light!!
I've had under cabinet lighting for 15 or more years starting with fluorescent tubes and then moving to xenon halogen bulbs. These early iterations provided decent light, but clashed with my effort to move all lighting in my home to daylight balanced illumination. I chose this Parmida light as part of 3 total pieces mainly due to the ability to change the color temperature to more closely blend with daylight balanced LED bulbs in the overhead fixtures in my kitchen. Now I have kitchen lighting that doesn't clash and look ugly! But there's more....These Parmida UCL bar lights were fairly well thought out with a mounting system that goes directly through the chassis of the light making installation the easiest I've ever experienced. In addition, the linking feature with included cables also makes life easier in being able to mount 2 lights close to each other and only use 1 wall receptacle for power. I have also enjoyed the swivel feature to allow lighting to be more directly applied where needed. Now the downside(s) to these lights which in reality should have brought my rating of 5/5 down to 4.5/5. The aforementioned swivel mechanism requires a backspacing from the cabinet skirt of about 1/2" in order to utilize all the light produced by these bar lights. Not really a down side, but something to be aware of. Also, since my installation was of the plug in variety, the 5 foot power cable is very stiff and somewhat difficult to tack into place out of view and the connector plugged into the end is longer than I've encountered before making a light reported to be a little over 12" into more like an 14" installation when all was said and done. Oh well, I didn't want that paper towel roll holder there anyway! One final thought for those contemplating these or other plug in style under cabinet lights. I do wish manufacturers would construct a light like these that could be both powered and linked simultaneously from the same end. Those of you who've installed multiple lights know what I mean about the planning required to try to minimize the number of wall outlets required to power this kind of setup. I know, there's always hard wiring, but I'm not in a position to do that right now.All in all these are wonderful under cabinet lights that have unique features I find very useful and will light my kitchen for years to come without having to change out burned out xenon bulbs or tolerate soft white light mixed with daylight balanced lighting above.

Attractive, Solid, flexible work bench or under cabinet light.
So far I’m pretty satisfied with this light. And unless it stops working sometime in the near future it does exactly what it supposed to and definitely provides enough light. So after installation I can say that I am very satisfied. The only downside I can see to this light is that there’s actually two mounting mechanisms in it. One is your average slide on over screw heads. The other is two very narrow channels (through-fixture) for a long thin screw to go all the way through the body and screw into the cabinet.I ended up having to use the slide-on mechanism only, simply because of local constraints when I was installing it.But to use the slide-on version you have to partially disassembled the fixture which isn’t terribly too hard except getting it back together once the fixture’s in place is very difficult because there’s lots of small wires inside the body that like to sneak out and interfere with clipping the panel back on.I recommend that you tape down the wiring inside the body after you take the underside panel off but before you mount the light. This will hopefully make a neater bundle and therefore be easier to reapply the panel with all the wiring inside. The installation would’ve been made easier if there had been three changes to this design.1. Instead of making the two channels for the screws so small I would’ve preferred them to be much much larger. Then I could’ve confidently attached the fixture with just the through-fixture holes. In reality these holes currently only allow about a 3/32 size screw through. I wish they were a lot bigger.2. Perforating the top fixture’s metal casing to create small wire clips that could’ve held in the entire wiring assembly neatly to help ease of installation.3. I wish this had come with a paper template for all the top mounting holes. If a long sheet of paper had been included that would’ve allowed me to tape it up to the cabinet and then pre-drill the holes that I needed then I could’ve used both attachment mechanisms at once and had a really good connection, with a real easy installation. As it stands if you’re just one person, you have to hold the fixture up while creating marks and or drilling pilot holes. A simple paper template would’ve allowed one person to easily perform a professional-looking installation.

Lower level build quality; great features
The swivel feature of the bulb is a game changer for a desk or under-counter. It allows a 180 degree sweep of light and the ability to direct it away from shining directly into one's eyes. Great feature. The build quality of these MADE IN CHINA units is not cheap but not well-made either. The 5 year warranty on an LED bulb sounds impressive, but could easily be 10 years for a standard quality LED panel- remember the bulbs are not replaceable; when the bulb goes you throw the whole unit away because the bulb is not designed to be replaced. Think of all the desktop lamps you or your parents had that last 30 years+ with replaceable bulbs.I've also noticed that after a few weeks, the light began to have an "afterglow" after turning it off. While this is not a big deal, it is another sign the design quality is not that great.Having three light styles is nice, but I'm not sure what the best uses would be for the 4 and 5k color levels.Attaching the unit to the underside of a desk or cabinet is annoying because the screws provided are too short to bite well and the ports are too narrow for easy operation of a standard screwdriver. Parmida needs to do a simple fix of this, it generates a lot of (unnecessary) complaints in the reviews. For 5 stars, it needs a better build quality, a glass panel for the light, and an LED made for a 10 year, not 5 year warranty. The technology is there.

Exactly what you expect
love this light, love the color changing settings. I will say I use it for my kitchen night light and its a little too bright. but that's nobodies fault but my own for buying a nice bright light.

3 light settings is great
Light has 3 light settings, very nice, the led light rotates and is adjustable, very nice, a bit expensive, absolutely no instructions included, difficult to install, says it can be hard wired or plug in, we could not hard wire the light, so we installed a plug in where we wanted to install the light, had hoped to hard wire it in.
