Absolutely no range and the case pops apart every time you turn it in the ignition. Not worth messing with. I made the mistake of buying 2 of these and the same issue in both. Spare I guess hopefully I'll never need them

If you still have your key but the fob has worn out, you can switch the blank out for your old key. As in the photo you have to fold in key about half way. To hold it there I used a small screwdriver. Then you punch out the roll pin. I used a small drill bit for this. Careful that you don’t break the bit off as I did. So you have to take the key off the old unit and the new unit and then put the old key on the new unit. It took me a coupleHours because of my screw ups but should not take that long. Anyway saved close to $200. There are YouTube videos and this comes with online links to program instructions

Perfectly fit what I had hoped, was skeptical about it’s ability to replace original.

I purchased this for the case only because my original case had a hole in one of the buttons. I didnt have trouble disassembling the new case/fob, but i did have trouble trying to disassemble my old one in order to get my key and my remote start board out of the old one (in order for my remote start to work with the new case). Everything works, including my remote start, but my old key doesnt pop out fully when I press the button. i never use the key anyway so its not a real big problem for me.

Does not work , instructions appear simple but ,after having three other people help to activate this unit can not be programmed to my vehicle Quality looks to be very good , but does me no good just sitting in a draw and can not be used !

I like the cost of the fob, it’s inexpensive and it is pretty durable, the only thing I don’t like is that a lot of times it won’t work and I’ll have to put my key in the door to unlock my car. It will pick up the sensor other times and the doors will unlock but I have to hit the button more than a couple times in order for it to unlock.

2014 buick encore, i bought this key fob for replacement and I didn't check th numbers of buttons on it,mone has only 3,but still works anyway but instead the car starting with the start button,it does with the Trunk button but, I don't see any problem because was my fault.but works easy to install.

Wayyyyy better than going to the dealership for a new key. Bought this for cheap, and took it to a local store to get it cut and programmed. Saved me about $150 bucks. Now I will say it sometimes doesn’t want to unlock from a far distance, but I’m not mad at it for the price.
